In the final year where the internship is mandatory, we had two faculties in charge of student placement in internship. They do their best for getting you an internship. A faculty is assigned to you as a mentor and you report to him every week.

Many companies offer internships and jobs at MITWPU. Various multinational companies visit the MITWPU campus every year for jobs. The job fair is conducted every year at MIT WPU. Infosys, tech- Mahindra visit MIT campus.

Yes, MIT WPU offers internships opportunities to its students. More than 85 per cent of students got internships in various companies across Pune and Mumbai. As well students can give outside interviews and go to any company they want but should be related to the course they are studying.

From 6th semester. IMB,AMDOCS,RAKUTEN,YAHOO,TATA. The highest package is 37.60 lacs and the average is 6.70 lacs. 90% of students get placed from MIT-WPU. My plans are to study for a higher degree in networking, circuits.

Summer Intern during my 2nd year. College doesn't help for internship nor it is compulsory. One can go for it considering their own interest. As per pune university rules internship is not compulsory to apply for placements. If you have done a internship it will add certain value to your resume during final placement.

Placement is good but not great. I would say if you want a great placement then you have to be on your own. But everyone gets placed here in computer and IT branch.

Basically MIT has a umbrella type placement, where they provide placements equally to every student studying in MIT institution, the companies invited were renowned and consultancy companies also were invited to the campus.

Students are eligible for placement from the 6th semester. Normally Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Nvidia, etc are visiting our college for placement. Highest package of this college is 50 LPA and lowest package is 3.6 LPA. Average package is 12 LPA. Normally 85% of students every year get placed in companies. My plan after the degree is to get any job and pursue it.
