The admissions to B.Tech first year program are performed on the basis of UPSEE conducted by Central Admissions Board (CAB), Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow.
Admissions to B.h Lateral Entry will also be based on candidate’s rank in UPSEE. 85% of seats for the fresh and lateral entry admissions will be filled through the counseling by UPTU and 15% seats will be reserved as Management Quota seats. The exam for the first year and lateral entry admissions are scheduled to be conducted on April 16, 2020 and April 22, 2020, respectively.

Note: For B.Tech (Lateral Entry Course), the candidates whose Father/ Mother are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and he/ she has passed three-year Engineering Diploma with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST) in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture are also eligible to apply.
