No, JEE Main is not a compulsory entrance exam. Candidates can also apply through the CUET UG entrance exam, followed by the UPTAC counselling process.

What are the requirements for B.Tech lateral entry at Lucknow Institute of Technology?

The fundamental requirement is a diploma degree in engineering. To be eligible for the course, the general and OBC students should have a minimum of 45% marks, and the reserved category students 40% marks in the diploma. The students with three-year degrees and 12th passes with the mathematics subject can also apply. Admission is based on the CUET UG exam, followed by UPTAC Lateral Entry Counselling.

How are the Placements at LIT Lucknow?

LIT Lucknow has not released the placement package report for 2025 yet. However, the highest package offered for M.Tech was INR 12.5 LPA in 2024, and the highest package offered for MBA was INR 8.7 LPA, in 2023 it was INR 17 LPA. The company has top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, HCL, etc.

Are hostels available at LIT Lucknow?

Yes, LIT Lucknow has hostel facilities for boys and girls with well-equipped rooms, hygienic food, hot water supply, TV rooms, Wi-Fi, and Indoor & Outdoor games. The girls hostels have double and triple occupancy rooms, while the boys have double occupancy rooms. The hostel pay is around INR 45,000 annually for the hostel and mess facility. There might be additional charges for laundry and gym services. Also, using coffee vending machines and provision stores will have separate costs.
