Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have passed the 10+2 with Physics and Maths as the compulsory subjects while the optional subjects are Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject.
Applicants should have obtained 45% marks in the above examinations mentioned.
For candidates belonging from reserved category 40% marks are required at 10+2 level.
Also, candidates having passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 45% marks are eligible for Lateral Entry Admissions.
For SC/ST category marks required in Diploma in Engineering is 40%.

Selection Criteria

B.Tech 1st Year Admission at KEC Ghaziabad is conducted in 2 ways i.e JEE Mains Counselling and Management Quota.

Direct Admission under Management Quota and Vacant Seats

The seats will be filled after the counseling of JEE Mains on merit only if you have cleared the qualifying examination with two compulsory subjects and one optional subject securing 45% marks and 40% if you are belonging to a reserved category. OR You must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 45% marks and 40% marks if you are SC/ST candidate.

PCM merit of students in qualifying examination.

Key Notes:

Direct admission is offered to Kashmiri Migrants in the first year of the B.Tech program.
Fee waiver seats for economically weaker meritorious candidates are also available in the B.Tech course. No tuition fee will be charged from the candidates admitted against such seats.
The fee waiver seats are limited to a maximum of 5% of the approved intake. The economically weaker students must submit an Income Certificate at the time of counseling. These seats are allotted through JEE (Main) counselling.

Everything you should know before enrolling in KEC Ghaziabad

The environment is totally competitive with supportive system
The additional scholarship opportunities after enrolling

Dislikes

Combined classes have plenty of strength which just confuses all the concepts and waste time

Admission:

There is no such thing like entrance exams to get admission in KEC however you need to fulfill the criteria of 58% in maths chemistry physics in your 12th standard to get admission If you don't have 58% in your 12th you can just provide the college with donation amount The application process and enrollment are fine procedure there are management staff who will walk you through The infrastructure of the admission cell somehow needs some uplift

The thing I liked the most about this college is there is no scope of complaints for faculty's teaching methods and knowledge.
From juniors to seniors most of the students are of helping nature.

Dislikes

College does not take resposibilty for arrangement of parking of Cars. There is only arrangement of parking for 2 wheelers .
Clubs in the college are not very active

Admission:

Krishna Engineering College is affliated with Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical Univeristy, so admission process involves of an entrance exam. It also accepts national and state level entrance exam results like JEE Main, UPSEE, KEAM etc. After these exams, eligible candidates may need to participate in counseling sessions. During counseling, candidates can select there preferred college based on there ranks. However, because I enrolled in 2020- the year of the COVID 19 pandemic, I was able to avoid taking the entrance exam and instead recieved direct admission without having to go through the counseling process.

I appreciate the friendly and approachable seniors on campus..

Dislikes

The campus life lacks vibrancy, with no organized fest in the past year.
Campus area is very small. No proper parking for cars

Admission:

The admission process is quite basic and easy .Many courses under AKTU require to appear for entrance exam commonly known as UPSEE but I am unable to sit for this exam due to covid-19 situation and took direct admission instead. You can take admission through AKTU conselling after exam result or take direct admission .

I like the teachers as they were very helpful and helped me in many ways

Dislikes

There was no grounds or sports type activities provided by the college as some student wants to indulge in sports activities

Admission:

To enter in Krishna Engineering college either we have to give online exam for or through management quota so I got admitted through management qouta based upon my 12th class percentage, there was no application fee for management quota. To enter in Krishna Engineering college you can get enter through Jee mains result or UPCET, No I dont want to see any improvement in admission process.

College facilities and their efforts to provide students a good placement and right guidance.

Dislikes

Mesh is not so good and canteen is not good enough.

Admission:

For admission, you need to take a test. The test consists of science and maths questions. The application form is given by the reception or counseling room. Counselors take your test and immediately provide you the result with available streams according to your test progress.

Campus Area- College is infrastruced at a area of 11 acres.
Infrasturcture is really good and well maintained.

Dislikes

Exams-sometimes exams are conducted very often
Less cultural fests that are organised in the college.

Direct Admission. You can find the application form at the college website which is krishnacollege.ac.in. Scholarships are also provided to the students who take admitted through the university counseling process.

Mess in our college is good as compare to other college and 3 day are haven in evert week.

Dislikes

I think most of the rule and regulation of kec is not fair.

Admission:

You must get up to 60 per cent in your intermediate and in maths and science you have to score above 60 number out of 100. No need for any admission form because of direct admission. Never worries about the seat. Yes, it is very complex.

The things I liked about the campus life is that the seniors here are nice and approachable and we can always discus them about various projects and technical topics.
The infrastructure of our college is good with well equipped labs and classrooms as well as a well stocked library.

Dislikes

Although most of the faculty here is knowledgeable but some of the teachers are under-proficient and this results in various problems faced by students.
The grounds in the campus are not well maintained and equipped.

Admission:

Admission to Btech Course in U.P is now through Jee Mains so you have to clear that but I didn't give Jee mains and took direct admission instead . You can take admission through Aktu Counselling based on Jee Mains score or take direct admission. The application form is available on the college's website.

Canteen:- There are 2 huge canteens in the college premise.
Wifi in the Campus:- Whole campus has wifi for the students and staff.

Dislikes

No social groups or clubs available in the college.
No cars allowed for students as students do stunts in college premise with their cars

Admission:

The admission process was smooth just because I applied as a lateral entry there is no test or PI, and application form and fees are available in college, I don't have any knowledge about the reservation benefits as I belong to a general category and there are no reservation benefits for me.
