Kanpur Institute of Technology offers B.tech program in 6 Specilizations namely BTech CSE, BTech IT, BTech Electrical engineering e.t.c.  The Institute Offers 4 year B.tech Program in Full time mode only. The Institute also offers B.tech Lateral entry admission to the Candidates directly in 2nd year.

Kanpur Institute of Technology B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board with 45%.
• Candidates must have Passed his/her 10+2 level of examination with 45% marks.
• Candidates must have a Valid JEE Mains Score.

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry in Second Year): Candidates must have passed three-year Engineering Diploma in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) without any grace with minimum 50% marks or three year B.Sc. degree without any grace with minimum 50% marks plus having passed 10+2 exam with mathematics as one subject.

The Final Admission to Kanpur Institute of Technology is offered on the Basis of JEE Mains Ranks of the Candidates Followed by UPTAC. A Total of 4 rounds of Counselling will be Conducted by UPTAC in 2024.

Eligibility 

• For BPhrama: Candidates must have passed his/her 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics as mandatory subjects and minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

• For M.Pharma: Candidates must have Completed his/her B. Pharm with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate or Equivalent CGPA.

• For D.Phrama:  Candidates Must have  Passed his/her 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

Selection: Selection to BPharma & MPharma program of Kanpur Institute of Technology is based on UPTAC Counselling.

The Institute offers a 2 year MCA and MBA  program to the Candidates at PG level.

Eligibility Criteria

• For MBA: For MBA Program the Candidates must have passed three years Bachelor degree course without any grace with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university.

• For MCA: For MCA Program the  Candidates must have passed three years Bachelor degree course without any grace with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university. Mathematics in intermediate (10+2) or graduation in BCA/B.Sc (IT/CS).

Selection Criteria

• For MBA: For MBA Program the Selection of  Candiates is baased on the CAT / MAT / Equivalent score followed by written test and  interview, group discussion, academic merit, work experience followed by UPTAC counselling.

• For MCA: For MCA Program The Selection of Candidates is based on Written test, interview, group discussion, academic merit and work experience followed by UPTAC Counselling.
