Can students change their branch after admission to KITSW?

There is a provision for a change of branch in B.Tech in the 3rd semester only. Branch change shall be strictly according to the merit list prepared by the Institute from the regular students based on the total marks obtained by the student in the 1st and 2nd semester examinations put together. Only students who have passed all subjects in a single attempt shall be eligible to apply for a change in branch, provided there is a clear vacancy in a particular branch, limited to the prescribed/approved intake by AICTE in the previous academic session when the students were admitted at the 1st-semester level.

Does KITSW offer PhD programs?

Yes, the departments of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Communication and Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering offer a PhD program, with an intake of 8 people under each research supervisor.

Q: Does KITSW offer any scholarships?

KITSW does not offer any scholarships; however, according to the reviews, it offers fee waivers for students applying through certain reservation categories. Devaraju Uday says that sc, st students got hundred percent scolership there is no tuition fee for them only library fee will be taken (which is INR 10,000). Nandhi Ram Naik says that there is a government scholarship for the students who was qualified in the EAMCET exam. Every caste students are eligible for this scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee structure is better then other colleger per 2 semesters it is 130000 and there is no registration fee and same fee for all coursees and per semester examination fee is 2300 and for the students who are eligible for scholarship will get 35k reimbursement and for Sc,St full fee reimbursement.
