Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science offers admission into 31 courses across 10 departments. KITS, Warangal, admissions are based on merit achieved in the state government exams for the specific programs. The flagship B.Tech program’s intake depends on the TS EAMCET exam for regular entry and the TSECET exam for lateral entry. Since the 2025 results are not out yet, the EAMCET 2024 cutoffs for KITS B.Tech were between 13977 - 62338. The first-year fee for these courses ranges from INR 1.25 Lakhs to INR 1.28 Lakhs. Other examinations accepted for admissions into the various courses are - TS PGECET/GATE for M.Tech, and TSICET for MBA. The PGECET cutoffs in 2024 ranged between 116 - 1119, and the TSICET cutoff was 27169. The first-year fee for M.Tech is INR 77,500, and for MBA is INR 67,000. KITS Warangal Application Process 2025
Since KITSW takes admission via state government exams, all students must achieve the cutoff scores in these exams and apply for the desired courses after going through the counselling process.
Those applying via the Management Quota, however, must fill out the application form available on the official website of the college, and either submit it online along with all required documents or submit it in person at the Institute. The registration fee is INR 2000, which is non-refundable, and paid in the form of a DD drawn in favour of “Principal, KITS, Warangal” or in cash at the Institute.
KITS Warangal 2025 FAQs
Ques. How much do the KITS Warangal Management seats cost?
Ans. The tuition fee for Management Quota is higher than the regular seats. The B.Tech fee for each year is INR 1.25 Lakhs.
Ques. Can I get admission into the KITS Warangal MBA program with a valid CAT score?
Ans. Despite the CAT scores being nationally recognised for admission into MBA programs, KITS Warangal does not have direct recognition of these test scores. KITSW releases a cutoff for the TSICET exam and accepts admission through the TSICET Counselling.
Ques. What is the Admission fee for Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Nizamabad?
Ans. Applicants seeking admission through the management quota are required to pay an application fee of INR 2,000 for B.Tech courses and INR 1,000 for MBA. Those who are not applying via the management quota only have to pay the registration fee for the Telangana State exams through which they are applying.
