Journey to Ahmedabad University

Likes

The faculties are so helpful throughout the course.
The infrastructure is one of the best with all the amenities within the campus.
The course curriculum is designed in the way that the student get exposer to different fields like they are allowed to choose any course beyond their major branch.

Dislikes

Placement at Ahmedabad University is not that good a very small number of companies came this year for campus hiring.
There are time when the gab between two lectures is so long.
Student have to compulsory maintain an 75% attend throughout the course in any of the case.

Admission:

The admission process at Ahmedabad University start from the a shortlisting round based on your score of JEE and ACPC and after that there is an interview taken by the faculties and once a student pass this both thing then they are offered admission letter and within a time frame they have to pay tuition fees. Ahmedabad University is known for it course curriculum, diverse students from all over the country and it reputation that the only reason I chose Ahmedabad University over other universities.

A glimpse into a campus life

Likes

Everything is well maintained in the college and classes even the corridor and grounds are very cleaned
The whole environment the so good and engaging.
The foreign tie ups with other colleges is so helpful

Dislikes

Some faculties in the college are not good.
The attendance policy here is way too strict and we have to maintain 80% attendance.
The leave approval process is way too stressful even if we have genuine reason we can't take leave or less than 80% attendance will lead to grade drop.

Admission:

Ahmedabad University is known for its strong academics, interdisciplinary approach, and vibrant campus life. The admission process involves eligibility criteria, entrance exams, personal interviews, and portfolio reviews (for specific programs). I choose AU based on factors like academic reputation, program offerings, campus culture, and industry connections. And overall it is very devastating here so that is the reason.

Amazing college with project learning

Admission:

I got admission with PGCAT which is GATE for Gujarat. Here you can get admission with GATE as well. After that you can directly select the college and believe me it one of the best college in Gujarat. You can choose it without giving second thought.

I got admission through my ACPC rank. Once the merit list of ACPC was out we were supposed to fill out 1st mock round of colleges in the order we want admission selecting college and branch.I have filled out 15 colleges in the list and SEAS was probably 8 or 9th choice since it was a new college.

Ahmedabad University: An Amazing Learning Experience

Admission:

In 2015 after completing my 12th standard, I participated in the ACPC undergraduate admission process and filled my preference list of colleges for Computer Science. My ACPC rank was 765 out of 60,000 students participating, hence I had a pretty decent chance of getting into premier institutions of Gujarat. In the second round of ACPC, I was offered admission to Ahmedabad University with a full tuition waiver in Information and Communication Technology and I also had an offer from Nirma University in Computer Science. I interacted with students at Ahmedabad University and liked the project-based learning and research-oriented pedagogy as well as the faculty, compelling me to choose Ahmedabad University.

Admission:

The bad is that too many submissions at a time through which the students gets pressure. This leads to less participation in other activities good part is project based learning gives the glimpse to student that what is his role in the future market and have to work accordingly. The outcome is that student is less confused about selecting is interesting job. He would select where he is good at it.

Admission:

The only bad thing in our college is we have a small play-ground not so big. The management is pretty old and experienced and hence the college is well maintained. Good thing about our college is that a student can directly interact with the faculty members about any doubt or issue related to their subject and the faculty members are also always ready to help the students.
