Are internships mandatory or facilitated by the college?

Internships are highly required and frequently organised by IPEC as a main element of the learning process. But it is not necessarily required in each and every department. Internships are strongly suggested because they will provide a connection between academic learning and practical application in the corporate world. The Training and Placement Cell of the college will help their students to pursue good internship opportunities by linking them with well-established companies, start-ups, and industry partners. Are students allowed to sit for multiple placement offers in IPEC?

In IPEC, students are generally allowed to sit for multiple placement opportunities, especially in the initial stages of the placement season. Students are restricted from appearing in further interviews, or depending on the category that the company offers. The college is worth joining.

Placement Experience:

The campus does provide placement in college , but i would suggest do not depend on college. Be out of the crowd , gain skills and knowledge of your field of interest in first 2 years of college, get an internship in 3rd year of college this will make your CV stand out of almost 90 percent of other students. This will help you getting a better job in on campus and off cumpus placement both. The campus will also force you to apply and join for any company which are comming in college, but you should stick to a specific niece. Do not go for sales and buisness development.

An honest review from the first year student

The placements of college is good. Students becomes eglible in third year to sit in the placements. Many companies such as flipcart, amazon, cicso, infosys and other companies comes to the college for placements. The average package offered by them are around 10 to 12 lpa. The highest package this year was given by amazon of around 30lpa as per the latest information. A total of 150 student sits in the placement and out of which 120 got offers from the companies. My plans after getting a degree is to persue my masters abroad and try to find a job over there.

Dislikes

Placement is not so good of the college, hardly 60-70% of the students get placed.

Students become eligible for campus placements in their 7th semester. Name of Companies visited : Paytm, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and many more. Highest package offered was 35 LPA and the average package is around 4-6 LPA the profiles of the offer was mostly technical. 60-70% students get placed in both technical and non technical fields, during recession in 2023 students suffered a lot and most of them were unplaced. My plan after the completion of my degree is to go for off campus placement on the basis of my skills in the technical field.

There are several opportunities to get placement from our college as per as their course. Our college provide least package placement of 3 lakh per Annum(wibzo) to highest package as recently 23 lakh per annum (amazon).

Placements are not very good as most companies come for sales role

From 7th semester compies start coming and eligible students can apply. TCS ,Wipro,Infosys are main recruiter coming in the campus. Most of students get placed for sales role only 20 percent get placed for tech role

The Glimpse of my college life

placement rate in my college was 75-80%. with some mass recruiters like infosys, TCS and some big companies like paytm, amazon and cognizent. if i recall correct, the number of offers made in 2022 was 800+ and in 2023 was 820-860. average package of last 4 years would be somewhere around 4lpa to 4.5lpa and highest package being 13lpa

1.) Placement till 2023 is good but Placement in 2024 is not good only 40% student are placed through campus. 2.) From 6th sem you are eligible for campus placement. 3.) TCS, TRANSUNION, ZHOPPER, COGNIZANT, etc are the famous companies which come for placement. 4.) 80 offer made by tcs which is the highest no. Of student taken by a single company . 5.) Highest package 9 LPA, Lowest is 2 LPA. 6.) 40% of Student get placed through campus.

Average college, Small campus, Bad crowd, Average placements, but decent faculty.
