- XAT 2025 Registration is open at xatonline.in for admission to MBA/ PGDM courses. The last date to register for XAT 2025 is November 30, 2024. The application edit facility is also open for all registered candidates till November 19, whereas the exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 5, 2025.

HKBK Group of Institutions was established in 1997 located near Yelahanka in Bangalore and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka.

B.Tech. is offered under six specializations, admission to the same is done on the basis of the rank obtained in KCET/JEE Main followed by counseling.
Admission to the UG courses is granted on the basis of merit, although for selection to the BPT program, the candidates must qualify the entrance exam conducted by the institute itself.
MBA is offered under 3 specializations, admission to the program is based on the candidate’s performance in KMAT/CAT/XAT. The candidates must secure over 60%ile in the aforementioned exams.
The institute offers a Ph.D. in 12 disciplines, admission will be granted on the basis of an entrance exam.

- As per University norms, the candidate will be eligible for admission to first year engineering course, if he / she has a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics & any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, Computer Science and Electronics in 12th Standard or equivalent and English as one of the subject.
- Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI categories
- The candidate who have passed a diploma or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in all the compulsory subjects of final year are eligible for the direct admission in B.Tech courses
HKBK College of Engineering Bangalore B.E. Selection Criteria
- Admissions are made through counselling based on the rank obtained in KCET. Admission for COMED-K/ JEE Mains qualified candidates will be made by the institute on the basis of the rank obtained in the respective exams.
- For candidates applying through management quota, admissions will be made on marks obtained in 10+2.For overseas students, selection will be purely based on academic merit and the college will conduct an interview and assessment process prior to granting admission.
Direct Admission in 2nd Year in EngineeringHKBK College of Engineering offers direct second year engineering admission that enables candidates with a 3-year diploma in engineering to get admitted directly for the 3rd semester in different streams.

- So it has greenery all over the place , they clean the campus every day and all the places are mostly clean
- Teaching staffs are all well educated and have the knowledge to teach us , but some teachers are new so they don't have that much experience
Dislikes
- The college does not have proper canteen they have two canteens but there are not much items in it and one of the canteen is not that clean they don't clean offen that's the private canteen
- Labs are all outdated and the buildings are also outdated but then they are trying to renovate some room , all classes does not have a smart board
Admission:
So I had got less rank in my kcet , I wanted to join top colleges in Bangalore but then they where very expensive to join through management so I had not other options then joining this hkbk college, the college I joined is not that great because the avg package in this college is 5lpa but the other colleges I wanted to join had package around 30-50lpa , and my college has only limited placement like only 5-10 companies come here we have to try off campus placements only

- Some Proffesors are good and i can approach to them
- No ragging in the campus. There arw co curricular activities
Dislikes
- Small campus . More focused on completing the syllabus rather teaching re world applications
- The lab components are too old to use. And some of them dont work properly

I didnt apply to any other college and i got into this college through management seat for 2nd year as i was diploma lateral entry student. No We can take admission into this college through management KCET or DCET Most preffered by the students are KCET

- We have good campus inside have canteen venditalor machine for snacks
- They teach well but with attitude and everything and they are the worst even the pt sir

- Security guards are rude and doesn’t have manners
- Pt sir act like rowdy and ask for fine everytime

This college is in a calm area with good campus and placement internship offer including etc one of my friends got placement from this college when i applied to other colleges i got the admission but because of the donation fees couldn't take it this college is affordable also area is also good

- One thing I really like about this college is here it is not much strict compare to my friends college.
- No need to dress in uniform. Just simple formal dress is enough.
Dislikes
- Some teacher teaching method are really bad, just reading from ppt or pdf notes
- Over hype placement advertisement as if 100% placement.
Admission:
The first college i applied for was LPU and I passed the LPU nest test with category 3 scholarship and was ready to join. But suddenly i got a call from them and told me that my math marks for the 12th standard doesnt meet the requirement, so i couldn't take the course at LPU. I choose this college is because the admission is really easy for management and also i was in rush of applying other college after not getting into LPU and also this college fees are descent and the level of strictness is not very strict. So ovarall i liked this college after joining here. The admission process is really simple just apply to the website on hkbk website and you will get call from them and you just need to give the details of your 10 and 12th standard result. I think CET exams are accepted and also COMEDK. but i don't know anyone who got through this seat so can't give much detail. The overall admission process for the managment is really smooth and easy.

HKBK COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING is budget friendly compared to the other colleges in banglore. Others Colleges are changed much more than my college HKBK COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING. For admission you should contact to admission section

I wanted to apply for Indian Academy, or CMR but then the fees and the distance were too far from my place so I decided to join hkbk. No, I did not get any rejection from any colleges I applied, I didn't make it there because my parents didn't let me. You fill out a form, then pay the amount for locking your seat and then pay the full amount of fees and give the documents which is asked..

- Ground is not maintained properly as expected need to improve more
- College programs are lesser,only special even programs
Admission:
The addmission process was pretty easy like we have to submit some documents like 10th and 12th result, aadhar card details, student photo,,we need to pay admission fee which may depand while doing the paper works.the process is fast and simple it won't take more time within 1 Hr. I didn't attempt any college entrance exam, infact college is conducting and also Karnataka government is making entrance exams through which students can apply for this college with very lesser fees than management addmission.

- Gym trainer is there in the college gym who is highly experienced and a professional bodybuilder

- Mess food is really disgusting and they keep on changing people
- Labs are really bad hard to adjust on them
Admission:
I join this college through COMEDK exam but that doesn't affect much as my chief was similar to that of a management Kota student for CET there was a facility and for female friend of mine who came through CET pays 35000 for the same course before which I am paying 1.5 lpa so CET for Karnataka students it is affordable and at that price it is suitable for them

- Faculty guidance and their way of teaching is the USB of the college . Faculties were amazing and well qualified

Admission:
There is state level examination, achieving the rank according to which you will get seats in differrent colleges. I did not give any state level examination . My 1 year fees was 1.5 lakhs. You can directly go there and speak to the administration department.

- Faculties are good, teaching techniques are good.
- Lab systems and digital library are good.
Dislikes
- Fine structure is not good, as they collect fines even on late addmission.
- Canteen food is not that much good in taste and even cost is high
Admission:
The common admission process to engineering College is K-CET. I took the K-CET exam after my pu and I got 36036 ranking out of 1 lakhs students. With my ranking I easily got a snq qouta seat in HKBK COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, information science and engineering department as the cutoff for this department in this college was 55000. All the admission process is carried out by KEA board. The board issues the dates for all the steps in admission involved. According to the dates, all the process are carried .
