Gaya College has a mixed record regarding placements. While significant efforts are made by the college's placement cell, the overall placement rate over five years has been approximately 60%, with the highest package reported at 70 LPA and an average package ranging between 2-4 LPA. Many companies, such as TCS, Infosys, HCL, and Wipro, intermittently visit for recruitment, though the rate of students placed is relatively low compared to the number of attendees.
The sectors of BBA, BCA, MBA, and MCA see more campus selection activities, with some students securing higher positions in reputed companies. Local firms often participate in job fairs, and while internship opportunities are available, they are limited and mainly self-sought by students, with the college offering recommendations. The college is ranked A-grade by Magadh University and 7th top college in India, but the placement process is still evolving, with efforts ongoing to attract more companies and improve job opportunities for students.
