15 Jun, 2025 OCET (Haryana LEET) registration 2025 have begun online @techadmissionshry.gov.in. The last day to register is June 26, 2025. OCET 2025 will be conducted from July 1 to July 4, 2025 for BE/BTech Lateral Entry admissions. HSTES will declare OCET 2025 result on July 9, 2025. For detailed schedule, Check Here

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) is an engineering institute located in Haryana. It is affiliated to Kurukshetra University and approved by AICTE. The institute offers degrees in the field of engineering leading to graduation and post-graduation. Lateral entry admissions into second year of B.Tech are also available for eligible candidates.

75% of admissions to college are done through centralized counselling conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society, Panchkula.
The remaining 25% are done through institute level counselling under management quota.
Candidates interested in applying for B.Tech course must pass class 12 examinations in science stream and must have appeared in JEE Main .
M.Tech candidates must have minimum four year bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or MCA degree or M.Sc degree.
The counselling for M.Tech is conducted as per the schedule of Kurukshetra University in an online mode.
Application forms are available until the commencement of new session, subject to availability of seats in a particular course.

GNIT, Haryana B.Tech & Lateral Entry Admission 2024

GNIT, Haryana offers four year degree course of B.Tech with 4 specializations. The total intake of the course is 420. Lateral Entry admissions into second year of B.Tech are also offered to eligible candidates.

75% of admissions to both the courses are conducted through centralized admission couselling on the basis of entrance test scores by HSTES. Remaining 25% of admissions come under management quota to be filled through institute level counselling.

B.Tech candidates need JEE Main scores while Lateral Entry candidates should have LEET scores.
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the four as optional subjects - Chemistry/ Bio-Technology /Computer Science /Biology.

Lateral Entry admissions candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology of minimum three years duration from an AICTE approved institution.
B.Sc. degree holders from a UGC recognized University or its equivalent and have studied mathematics as a subject in class 12 are also eligible for lateral entry.
In case seats remain vacant after state and institute level counselling then college will invite applications for left over seats to be filled on the basis of entrance test scores or marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

GNIT, Haryana M.Tech Admission 2024

GNIT also offers comprehensive degree of M.Tech in three specializations. For each specialization the institute offers 18 seats. Interested candidates should possess valid GATE scores or equivalent to apply for the course.

The application form can be obtained from the institute website. Candidates are requested to take a print out of the form and fill in the details carefully, submit the form at the time of admission.
The cost of application is included in the first semester fee which is to be paid through HDFC Net Transfer in the college bank account.
The details of fee payment can be obtained by filling admission enquiry form on the website.
Based on request, the admission in-charge will revert to you through SMS, email or telephone to provide necessary admission details.

Candidates seeking admissions under state quota seats must apply by paying counselling fees on the official website through online mode.

Out of huge competition out the world of colleges I have been suggested by one of my friends dad,GNIT was good and I joined. I got the seat in GNI by the rank I perseuved in EAMCET. Admission:

You dont have to give the entrance exam for taking admission in this college. The admission opens from July to August. I opt for MBA because the MBA has a wide scope in the present scenario. MBA students are needed in each and every field. The factor that made me choose this institute is the location. Institute is surrounded by green trees. And also it is not far from the Railway station and bus stand.
