My Review of My College.

Likes

The college is nice with supportive professors.
It has huge campus and different departments in one campus.
The students take admission based on merit.

Dislikes

The food in college canteen is not good.
It has no opportunity for students for their future.
The library in college does not allow to sit there and read.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and academics is great. There are technical as well as non technical events organised in our campus. There are sports events organised for mental and physical well being of students.

GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE VALSAD

Likes

The green campus is provided by which we get inspired about the environment protection.
Facility for canteen and the same canteen also woks as mesh for the students in hostel.
Different labs for getting thorough knowledge of the theories studied.

Dislikes

Egoistic nature of some faculties which gets the students moral power down.
Lack of paractical knowledge due to non working equipments.
Bad government replacement policy for the non-working equipments in the clg lab

Placement Experience:

Campus placement of the students is done in the last year that is from the 7t semester. Actually, there is a 15 days internship for the students of the 7th semester according to the performance, report, and interview (viva) the impressions of the students are reflected. At the end of the 3-month internship generally, the campus placement is carried out.

Likes

The faculty services for students in any problem.
The teaching skills of the faculties are good .
Sports activity are also conducted by the selected faculties .

Dislikes

In rainy season sometimes water is there in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have selected this course because I'm interested in gaining knowledge in the mechanical field. There are 25 to 26 faculties available in the mechanical field. minimum students are 150 to 170. Different Qualifications are there according to faculties like M-tech, M-tech in thermal system design, ME in Cad / Cam, etc. The internal exams come within 1-2 months after starting the semester, and gtu exams after that in 1-2 months. Internal exams are difficult to clear somewhat and gtu exams also.

The Gujarat Technological University is good

Likes

The college life is great and have the best time
The campus also have the great place for students
The faculty and placement also is great and have the students placed

Dislikes

The government clg circular is very late
Exam dates are given before the exam of 8 days
The activities of clg is low sometimes and the clg safety

Environment engineering is the now scope branch as the pollution is increasing day by day the requirements of environmental engineer is becoming necessary into the today's world. Here teachers also teach really well and always take exams on time in the sem system. It's not a difficult course.

I choose this course because mechanical is an evergreen branch as compared to other branches..in our mechanical branch there are 32 faculties available for 150*4 students so faculty students ratio is quite reliable.

Placement Experience:

After the 8th semester we eligibility for placement. but in placements we have degrees otherwise we don't eligible for placement. The l&t, reliance and other cities company are visited in our college. For eligible placement we have passed out with threw 8 and above Cgpa. my plan is to do a master's in metrology.

Placement Experience:

The campus provides placement according to your academic performance as well as your personal ability but that is not too big an issue if you have capability then you can get a job rather than placement and also GTU also arranges a mega placement camp.
