From what I have heard from some senior students, the placements offered in our college are not so good. Most of the students have to look for Off-Campus Placements. Only about 40% students are accepted from the campus placement.

Dislikes

There is no internship support, you need to find one on your own for your 8th semester university requirement. That feels like a hassle because it is difficult to find internships off-campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average. Around 3 to 6 lakh per annum packages are offered and companies recruit around 1-5 students. The placements start in the 7th semester and continue till the end of the 8th semester, but the frequency of decent companies declines after a point. Around 45% of the students get placed before the 8th semester, around 20-30% are willing to pursue a higher education, and the rest are either applying off-campus or establish their own start-ups. I plan to pursue a Masters degree in Computer Science after my BE in CE.

Collge with value for money course. but not for Enthusiast

Placement Experience:

The place of my college is descent,i wont say its good but like average package you can get is around 4LPA. this year (2024) placement was not very good currently only 30% student has goten places (placement is still ongoing ). i wanted to purse masters so i did not try into placement also the highest package of this year is around 6-7LPA

YES , the placements are happening in my collage , but there are in some branch ( mab be in technical branch) .and about my ECE branch 4 to 5 company are take our interview for placements .and percerntage of placements is 70 to 80% in GECG collage .

Placement Experience:

In my collage there are not internship but there is campus placement. Students are aligible for the campus placement in 7th or 8th sem . There are many companies visited like TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. There is a highest package of 10 LPA and the avg package is 5LPA . There are 33 % of students get placed per year in my collage. My plan is to start my own startup after getting the degree .
