Balanced life in gopalan college

Likes

The campus is actually very good. Campus environment also gives us positive vides.
The facilities are very supportive nd also friendly in nature.
The teaching techniques are really good and easily understandable

Dislikes

Few areas in campus are need be to be clean and higinic.
More workplace and other activities should be conducted.
While teaching more real life examples should be given for better understanding.

Internships Opportunities:

In Gopalan college we get many intership opportunities. College also provid us some internship opportunities with some companies and also provided paid internship. And also help us in preparing a project based on our internship and also task oriented.

Likes

I like good faculty in the college with a good conservation with the students
Good campus placement offers for the students
All the skills are offers to the students

Dislikes

Their is no cultural activities to the students
Their is no big compus in the surrounding college

Placement Experience:

There is a less chance of getting placed in the college because of less company are approaching this college so there is an less chance of getting placed in the company the average package is around 3lpa

Likes

It has Good class atmosphere in our college
It has a good Canteen atmosphere in our college
We have a good cricket and football ground

Dislikes

There are No proper fests in our college
No proper ground for other sports activities
Less Co curricular activities are held in our college

Internships Opportunities:

Name of the companies and roles offered under internships with stipend never be same and I'm unaware of them too.. There will be various types of projects held under internships programs. Projects are done to clarify tasks.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Internships Opportunities:

As I'm a first year student I don't much knowledge about this but through senior I heard and know that they do provide internships to everyone and there a project seminars as well They focus a lot on students building their skills and projects.

Likes

I liked very much nice teachers they are kind and give us motivation
Teachers are very supportive and they help these to students a lot and they guides very good manner and the college providers a good freedom for everybody and we can interact with everybody
The placements are very good the teachers bring a lot of training training team to provide a good placement for us so that we can perform a good peformance in our placement and our college essay RND club so there we can do research and development an

Dislikes

Things I don't like in college is that there are more fine for a colleges they they make a take more finds from the students
We have to pay more we have to pay the fees they don't allow us to the exam if we are absent to the colleges they send messages
Most of the teachers are good but some teachers are very straight they don't teachers day treat like a school children for us

Internships Opportunities:

So that intentive colleges provide internship and mini projects we have every sem the so that we can select a particular subject in our syllabus and we can develop a mini project based on that project we get marks and catch price etc then that we have three reviews in our mini project every month so that we can build a step by step in our project idea and at the last of last year of the same we can show display project mini project exhibition in our college and we get cash price certificate and extra

Kannada Rajyotsava, industrial visit, organic farms.

Dislikes

Fines for attendence shortage, no long trips.
Extra charges on extra activities, lift is not working

Lufthansa, Gopalan aerospace ind pvt limited, amazon, Accenture, and Infosys, are a few of the companies where you will get placed on your hard work, and faculty help to their fullest for your placements and job.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semistar student becomes eligible for campus placements. The placement training activities start in the 4th semester. The highest package is 7.5 lakhs per annum and the average packages are 3.5 lakhs and above.

They have improved from past two years, and we are getting more and more companies into our Colleges thru which students are getting more confidence. And internships are also provided by the Traning and Placement Wong.

Placement Experience:

Placements drive are done often as I know, they don’t provide campus placements or internships for Microbiology. They allowed us to go for training sessions in all semesters. Some students from other departments such as tourism and MCJ are getting placements.
