GAT invites applications through offline mode, However, for KCET/ COMEDK UGET/ PGCET/ GATE/ ULRAT/ UGC-NET/ CSIR NET, the candidates must register themselves on the respective official portals to get enrolled in the UG/ PG/ Doctoral programs offered by the academy. To apply for admission in this academy, the candidates must follow the below-mentioned steps –

The candidates can either download the application form from the official website of the academy or obtain the same from the admission office of the academy.
Fill the application form and affix a passport size photograph on the application form.

Course Details

Global Academy of Technology (GAT), Bangalore offers B.E. course in 6 disciplines at UG level. The specializations offered at B.E are listed below:

Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility: The candidates seeking admission must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks in PCM.

Selection Process: The selection of the candidates is based on KCET/ COMEDK-UGET score followed by the personal interview.

Key Points:

The total intake of in B.E is 60 seats per specialization.
The candidates must be 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the academic year.
The candidates with 3-year of Diploma in Engineering or Polytechnic are eligible for Lateral Entry in B.E. 2nd year directly.
Reservations to SC/ ST/ PH/ OBC and other categories are awarded as per the norms of State Government.

Of the total seats, 45% are allotted to CET candidates, 30% to COMEDK while rest 25% are kept reserved for Management Quota.

You can rely upon few teachers for assistance
The student community is good. Like a certain set of people

Dislikes

Faculty members are horrible they don’t have knowledge,minimum knowledge on the subject
The network connection or the wifi is horrible. You feel like you study in a forest without any network connection.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise fee that is pay is 1,81,274. The tution fee is around 21k. They take exam fee separately. It's all money making business. The management fee is around 5 lakhs which is actually not worth it

High Quality education with Modern Facilites

Likes

I like how the faculty is very supportive and always ready to explain or get in contact with students
The campus is huge, alot of greenery and open space if anyone needs to relax

Dislikes

The canteen space is too small, it is overcrowded most of the times
There are very less amount of student clubs or student group activites

Fees and Financial Aid:

I joined through COMED-K quota and the fee structure for 1AY is 242000, there are many scholarships programs , in the 242000 there are alot of service fees such as wifi, library, campus fees etc. Sometimes they are unncessary expense but its fine. If there is any SC/ST students their fees for the AY is only 500INR, which i feel is very useful in promoting education to everyone. The campus and the faculties provide placement training and other extra value added courses which helps us alot in preparing for other exams and overall knowledge wise

Life at GAT

Likes

The college overall is a good environment for students particularly pursuing a degree of their choice.
The faculty is quite friendly and have good knowledge

Dislikes

It needs good maintenance in the classrooms.
It needs clean washrooms and proper hygiene.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees structure for this course is quite reasonable as they charge anywhere around 300000-400000 per year for management and they charge around 100000-150000 for students who come through CET or any other examinations

The college infrastructure and the syllabus curriculum

Dislikes

College timings and the staff (they are never interesting)
Difficult to obtain interest on subjects, because of their teachings

Fees and Financial Aid:

If you're entering through CET(GOVERNMENT QUOTA) it's good to join with an annual fee of 1.10L, but entering through management for 3-4 lakhs (CSE/ISE/EEE/EC) is not that worth to invest, instead go with other colleges with better placements

Beautiful Campus with world class infrastructure .

Fees and Financial Aid:

People from the state of Karnataka can opt for the SSP scholarsgip provided by the government of Karnataka. The fees is different for CINEDK and KCET students. There is also availability of management quota for the students.

My experience in global academy of technology

Likes

Curriculum is board has it includes both core subject along with new emerging subjects
The placement for ise department is nice compared to other similar colleges

Dislikes

Commuting to college is a big problem for most people as there is no direct bus or metro
The level of teaching can be improved further

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fees has not been increased since I have joined so in that regarding it is a good thing for us students who have joined through kcet. I have not received a single scholarship from the college neither have my friends. I volunteered for our college fest as a cameraman

Excellent teaching staffs

Likes

Teaching staffs where I liked them the most.
Library I liked as how they maintain the silence and clean.

Dislikes

If felt canteen must be improved more and should add some more things.
Parking area mist be improved more as there we can't find correct spot to park

Fees and Financial Aid:

Through COMED-K I got for 250000. As it was fixed they couldn't make any fee consestion. If are through management they can if you have any financial issues. After first year you have a chance to pay 50% of fee at first and another 50% of fee next time if are facing any financial issues.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Fee structure is not that expensive as compared to other college hostel charges is 70000 with 2 bed sharing. College fees is 151000 which is very feasible. Apart from this a student require only 3 to 4 k for their monthly expenses.
