Global Academy of Technology Admission 2024: Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Global Academy of Technology (GAT), Bangalore offers B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA programs at UG and PG levels. GAT Bangalore also offers Ph.D. program in the Department of Engineering & Technology.
- For admission in B.E., candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, English and Chemistry / Biology or Computer Science.
- The selection of candidates is based on KCET or COMEDK UGET score followed by counselling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
- MBA admission requires the candidates to have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% aggregate marks while the selection is based on the score of PGCET.
- For admission in the M.Tech program, the candidates are required to have B.E/ B.Tech degree in the relevant stream from VTU or from any other recognized university. The selection of the candidates in M.Tech is based on GATE/ PGCETscore.
- The Ph.D. degree admission requires candidates to have secured a Master’s degree in Engineering & Technology or relevant subjects from any recognized university.
- Final admission is granted on the basis of score in any of RAT/ UGC-NET or CSIR-NET.

As o clearly mentioned u was admitted through COMED-K EXAM, so i was opted through the counselling rounds which happen and u was selected in the 3rd round of counselling, u also got alliance university in first two rounds but waited to get a better college so o opted out this college. And the overall admission process was great and the faculty staff helped me out in all the ways during the process and everything went smooth and well.

- Faculty members are horrible they don’t have knowledge,minimum knowledge on the subject
- The network connection or the wifi is horrible. You feel like you study in a forest without any network connection.
Admission:
I applied to this college because it was decent before. But our seniors ruined the reputation for us. This was the only college is chose. You can get into college through cet comedk and management. But management is not worth for this college. The eligibility is to take pcmc/pcmb in 12th grade. Most preferably it is cet and comedk. The cut off's are within 40k and 20k.

- I like about my college is the campus. It has everything from cricket ground to basketball ball ground.
- The lectures and the staffs here are so friendly and they create supportive classroom atmosphere.
Dislikes
- The first thing i dislike is the canteen food.like there’s a need for improvement.
- As for placements a lot of companies visit us but students need some placement training iim order to get placed for a good company
Admission:
I had applied to colleges like don bosco, BMS , RNSIT and so on but i chose this college due to faculty expertise and the facilities. Also the campuses environment and the balance of academics and extracurricular activities played a major role in my decision. When compared to other colleges the course curriculum here was more aligned with industry trends and ensured skill development.The facilities like labs , libraries are advanved.The college's placement record is good and had ties with good companies. While i did apply to other prestigious colleges i didn't secure admission in some due to the cutoff of those colleges.The admission process was smooth and easier . College accepts admission through exams like kcet and comed K for engineering and as for diploma students through d cet . The cutoff for ECE is 66000 rank and the most preferred exam from majority of students is kcet.and the admission process doesn't include any interviews. Students can also get admissions through management

- Greenary inside the campus.our college is surrounded with good amount of green grass and plants,and is well maintained.
- Teaching staff: especially in the ece department the teachers are well qualified and teach well .
Dislikes
- Auditorium: being an engineering college our college auditorium it is too small and it only houses around 500-600 students
- Gym: our college houses a gym,which doesn't have a trainer and it is placed in corner of the physical education department office

To be honest I actually did not select this college, in Karnataka we write an entrance test kcet. Based on the ranking we are alloted the college using a software and this process is known as councelling.The councelling process is taken place in 3 rounds and I got my college GAT in the 3rd round

For cet the cut of is for AI DS it's around 25k and for comedk it's 20k. For reservation it varies around 30k and the fee also. The college people will guide u through everything. scholarships can also be applied

I came to this college through KCET and it's an easy process with a lot of documentation but it'll happen according thr kea board and the college will only be involved in the last part when we pay the fees

- The campus is huge, alot of greenery and open space if anyone needs to relax

- The canteen space is too small, it is overcrowded most of the times
- There are very less amount of student clubs or student group activites
Admission:
The admission process is very smooth, the staff and the office people help alot if you are new to this type of stuff and we just need some original documents and some extra photos. I joined through COMED-K entrance exam and there are other ways to join the college too like management quoata and CET. The semester is approx 4 months long everything inclusive
