Candidate should have passed the final examination of the Intermediate, 10+2 system or its equivalent. Those appearing in the Intermediate final or equivalent examination may also appear in the entrance examination for consideration of provisional admission.

Entrance Exam:

Admission in GCE is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The first stage is the screening test. The screened candidates appear in the mains Examination (second stage). Based on the Merit List of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (2nd stage), successful candidates have to go through counseling (third stage). The candidates desirous of seeking Admission in GCE are advised to appear in Screening & Main Examination of B.C.E.C.E.

Academic Fee details for one year:- Tution fee:?120 per year Examination fees = ?7400(for two semesters) Registration fees =?2500 per year Total ?10,020 for general and obc category students. For sc/st students examination fees is only 1400 for two semesters. Hostel fees:- 3500 per month for mess and 1200 per month for room Triple bedroom is alloted to all 1st year students but from 2nd year single room are alloted on the basis of cgpa Hostel fee is equal for all category students Financial aid and scholarships:- Student credit card- it is a scheme in which 4lakh rupees is provided to students on 4 percent interest which is applicable after completion of engineering. tution fee is fixed as this is a government operated institute so there are no hike for years in the tution fee the complete cost for everything including tution fee,service fees,and other charges is about 35000 there are some financial aid given by the government like the student credit card ,you can get a loan of upto 4 lakhs and that will pay for everything and you have to pay it back after 5years with 4% intrest for boys and 1% intrest for girls ( apply after 5th year) there is also a scheme for scholarship callled pms ( only for obc and sc/st) there are also stipends if you give the government a startup idea and if the government approves it
