GAT is an online exam conducted for a duration of 2 years. Candidates can appear for the exam through mobile phones, tablets or computers. There are a total number of 100 questions and there are multiple choice questions.

Qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed

M.Sc. Degree in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Chemistry / Genetics / Botany / Zoology / Environmental Science/Food Science and Technology or any branch of Biological Science / M.Pharm. or M.V.Sc or M.Sc. (Agriculture) or MD, MS or M.Tech in Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Food Technology
