CCTV Cameras are installed in college campus and hostel too. There is no scope of ragging.
Hostel Life is good. There is also Wifi Availability.

Hostel Facilities:

In one room, there are four student stay so there is no scope of privacy. Three fans are there in the room with Wifi Availabilty also. You can easily get rooms for Hostel. Pragatipuram and Bharatpuram are affordable places for rented room and PG you can get room around 1500-2000 /-

facilities that they give in hostel room is electricity 24/7 .. for per person one almirah..one table and chair and a single bed without mattress..and in small size room they adjust 3 people and there is only single switchboard ..with single fan in room

FGIET : A Balanced Blend of Education and Experience

FGIET has well equipped labs and libraries, the campus is wifi enabled & hostels are decent.

Dislikes

Hostel food is like the typical engineering college hostels with decent food.

Seperate hostel has been provided for boys and girls with adequate security measures. Hostel capacity is around 150 to 200 students. Shared room is provided to students with basic furniture, bedding and storage. Wifi connectivity and 24/7 power backup.

Second year girls hostel condition is so bad no proper construction and cleaning no floors

The facilities provided in the room Cupboard, bed , and socket and cleaning service. The 4 times food is included in the hostel fees that is to be paid along college fee one time for 1 year is 40000- 420000.Food is average to good. You rent a pg rooms near by too and opt for tiffin services. There were many local pgs are available.

Reality check for FGIET

Only first year hostel was good for living. in which you have to share your room with 3 other girls. In second year you have to share your room with 6 girls same goes for third year and in last year they will not provide you any kind of hostel facility. Hostel food is not good and hygiene level is poor

Simple hostel food is provided, nothing special, af beginning you will find it delicious, slowly after 1 month of admission they starts degrading quality. At all foods are not that healthy you have eaten mostly of time silly things for breakfast. Breakfast is really heavy. Although the yearly fee is 45k( hostel+ meal).

Hostel fee structure of 45000 that are quite good for the middle-class family because they can easily afford this amount those students from rural areas. The hostel's basic facilities are good. Hotels meal and lunches are not good.

Hostel fees is Rs. 45000 with generally a room having three bed. Including mess, 24 hrs electricity and purified drinking water. Mess food is average in taste. It also includes a badminton and basketball court.
