Exploring the inner truth of collage

Likes

Well infrastructure building, collage is at south bombay i.e. luxurious place , well developed reputation
Well developed classroom including WIFI, smart board, fully air conditioned rooms etc
Easy to travel for collage though railway / metro or by auto , cafeterias is okay okay and maintain hygiene for making food

Dislikes

Not have Incampus playground and hostel, cafeterias food price is litter bit on higher side

Internships Opportunities:

There are many companies come though 3rd year for internships but limited students can Crack that internships and have 50 thousands salary in internships. Students must be are trying there level best to crack internships. Recently 45 thousands students got internshis in Infosys. Students must do a different project form other for strong there resume.

The campus of DJ sanghvi is good and many events are happen in college
The faculties are very helpful and they have too much experience
The college not only focused on studies but also focused on extra curriculum activity

Internships Opportunities:

1. The internships is given to those students who has knowledge + communicate skills. 2. JP morgan chase company offer internships to 27 students. 3. The highest stipend of DJ sanghvi is about 87600 per month. 4. In DJ sanghvi college, 600+ companies offers internships to students of academic year 2023-24. 5.AIESEC company offer internships to 6 students of computer science department.

Overall infrastructure is good and teachers are too supportive.
No need to worry about marks. Almost every student gets around 9 and 10 pointers.
Environment of college is good as it is surrounded by good students and also no ragging

Dislikes

There are many students club but charge membership fees around 500.
Canteen food is not good. Too expensive and not worthy enough.
College wifi is very pathetic. Can't even download a pdf.

Internships Opportunities:

Interships are going around in campus . Also seniors send useful links and groups to join . Giving us knowledge about the paid courses which can boost our resumes. Also there are seminars and webinars regarding them.

Likes

Compulsory 75 % attendance , Co operative and Good teachers
Events and extra curricular exposure is good , campus life is proportionate to growth mindset
Placement is good .. companies like Jp Morgan , Amazon and Morgan Stanley come to campus gives 15-20 + LPA packagess

Dislikes

Very strict academic..less time to focus on other competitive exams
You cannot get holidays easily.. attendance is very strict ..if 75% below..you can even get a drop year
Sex ratio is not very good , Male to female ratio is 1/4

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies internship offers are shared In our placement opportunities groups .by the teachers..stipend differs for every company But it is 5- 15 k stipend Jp Morgans has their own exam .in which they prefer our students..so many students get internship opportunities from JP Morgan You have to know DSA and have a specialization in some technology like Ai , Cloud computing, Dev ops acc to the role

Likes

Labs are well equipped, they contain good quality pcs and constant internet connection
Faculties are nice, you can connect with them anytime for any problem
Library Is top class there is everything available from digital to hardcopy of research paper , novels , books etc

Dislikes

Canteen is ok - ok. The sitting capacity is also ok-ok
Gym is Ok. It can be more well equipped.
Intake per year. College takes 1000 students which can be reduced to 600

Internships Opportunities:

JP Morgan, appollo, Google are some company which provides internship with good stipends. Projects are given in college for every laboratory subject, such as building website ect which can be shown to companies

Interior is bit good then other colleges on basis of AC and benches and smart board .
batchmate are some helpful in some situation.
some teachers are good as they co-operate.

Dislikes

overall the campus is not big as compare to others .
canteen is not good , its taste,quality is bad.
so teachers are not helpful and not co-operate to us.

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements as shown by the college on the college website are good as the average salary is a bit nice in my point of view, and the real experience will feel on the time when I apply. Asper the college they give 100% placements.

imperfect but perfect college

Likes

Atmosphere is amazing and homely but not everything is
There is strict protection and security in our college
The teachers have a planned day and teach accordingly

Dislikes

Food of the canteen can catfish you into thinkinv they have everything on the menu
The canteen has limited options and all the options taste pretty average
The teachers maybe biased at times but neutrality is maintained

Internships Opportunities:

Every year for the third years who are about to enter in 4th year there is an internship drive that is being conducted and everyone who wants to participate has to register in the one they would like to be a part of

College gives a lot of opportunities for co curricular in both cultural and technical. The crowd is very active as most of the students are already from Mumbai and are occustomed to the busy lifestyle unlike an outsider from a small town who spends
most of his/her time adjusting and wxploring the city. The college is full AC so during summer there are no issues. infrastructure and technology is top notch. College has a crazy good alumini network and a lovely sytem to connect them to studnets
The teachers are helpful and college provides several minor and major courses

Dislikes

The college does not have a huge campus where students can hangout
The college fest is not that grand due to minimal funding and schedule pressure
The college wants their students to participate in technical and cultural co curricular events but does not make enough effort to provide resources

Internships Opportunities:

JP MORGAN offers stipend upto 40k per month Google summer internship offers stipend upto 1 LAKH PER MONTH. They offer roles like Software engineer. Web developer. Mechanical Engineer. etc The college allows students to work on an IPD project over the course of their final 3 years which includes solving a daily life problem ussing technical excellence. This is a compulsory project which students add in their resume to flourish
