How good is DON BOSCO Institute of technology in Bangalore for CS or IT branch?

The CS program offered by Don Bosco Institute of Technology is quite good. In order to get admission in DBIT Bangalore, the student should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC/12th standard or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks. Fees and Financial Aid:

-year wise fees 1,00,000rs -tution fees 10000, caution fees 2000, registration fees 1500, lab fees 5000, exam fees 1680 KCET fees 1,08,000rs and management fees as per course example for branch ISE 3,00,000 -for kcet all categories are same fees but for SC,ST around 25000 to 30000 -i don't have scholarships amount so i don't have an idea

Form government seats mine college fee is 108000 not included the hostel fee Now it is more i think 130000 n we r getting SSP scholarship from government and for private scholarship we can apply, mine course is Information science and engineering 108000

OVERALL ITS AN AVERAGE COLLEGE

We have to pay 1lakh four thousand for clg and college fees is 13k total it comes around 1lakh 17thousand .we can apply for ssp scholarship which is provided by Karnataka govt,for OBC 22K will be provided govt of Karnataka in the form of scholarship and for SC and ST will get 80k and they have to pay 70k to college .

The tuition fee is fixed starting because of covid they took 20000 less and then the fee was constant for 3 years and government scholarships were provided for students as i am from general catogary I didn't receive scholarships. Compus placements are good and it starts in final year

Fee depends on the type of admission. Kcet costs less, than the remaining. Donation seat is less compared to other colleges. Scholarship is also available to eligible students, can apply and take advantage.

Don bosco institute of technology had a hostel facility as well. Hostel fees was around one lakh ten thousand and the CET fees we paid was sixty thousand and coming to the college maintainance we paid thirty thousand. All these included tution fees, living, food, library and everythng

As i got into college by KCET in the year 2020 the CET fees was about 65000 and they use to tke extra 35000 on the name of campus so totel was around 95000 to 100000 and the hostel was bit expensive that is 110000 per year , hostel fees is hiked after 3 years when i was in hostel. The complete cost of education is around 800000 or more with hostel . All OBC ,SC , ST students used to get SSP scholarships from Govt .

Fees structure will change depends upon the marks your getting in KCET.If your coming through management then you have to come early .if you come early then it will be too less.campus selection package will be average.You can't expect more int his college.it depends upon your performance

fees not as expected for college including govt 110000per year and for hostel 110000. compared to hostel near by pg are their u can prefer that its good compared to hostel even washing machine are provided in pgs .in hostel no dobi or washing machines

Life inside DBIT

Personally, I feel the fee structure is comparatively high considering the provided features and scholarships is being provided by the government, not by the college, so I don't think the college going to provide any scholarships and for past two years there have been placements happening in outstanding number.
