Mid sems: The mid sems are held 2 times there in every semester which helps us to prepare well for final sem exams

The fees per semester is around 48000 that is really. And there is also reservation policy which offers various scholarships. In first semester i have paid around 60000 which included security, clunselling fees, etc. Now durimh the first semester final exams, they took 6000 rupeed as examination and univers fees. The scholarship forms are submitted by reserved category students but they havent told the amount about the relaxation they can get. This fees is really affordable for engineering. This college is based upon the punjab technical university, Jalandhar

Best college for btech in punjab

The fee structure of Btech (CSE) is around 1lakh a year and the hostel fees is around 70k a year . Although college provides PMS ( post metroc scholarchip ) to lower caste students who has low income certificate . Total fees excluding hostel fees is around 4lakh.

Overall Performance and management is good

Fee structure of our college is quite decent. Even they give scholarships such as PMS( post matric scholarship) to eligible students and NSS scholarship also , so that those students who are not able to pay the fee also can take benefits of pursuing in their relevant course. College also provides the stipend based internships and job roles.

Holidays are very less like after the end of 1st year students are provided with training but no holidays are given

The fee structure is very simple , as the fee structure varu in the amount that we have pay per semester like sometimes it's 64k of first' semester and in 2nd sem we have to pay 35k or in next semester we have paid 53k. But the sum total of the year is 1L. Scholarship are also available for the sc st students , general students can also apply for the scholarship but the procedure is different.

The biggest issue in this college is the Attendance issue that really affects the acedmics of student .You will get 0 marks out of 6 even after having 75% of attendance.It increases by 1 mark on every 5% attendancefor example1 mark for 80% 6 for 100%
They claim the semester to be of 6 months but they end the whole semester In 90 days that is 3 months

Tuition fee is not bad .as an cse student you will have to spend around 4 lakh or 4.1 lakh for entire 4 years including all the travelling, examination fees , uniform and other charges .There are many scholarship available for SC/ST students allowing them to have the burden released from their family .Campus placements are not so great but yeah you can enter the industry .Infosys ,Wipro ,TCS are the companies that recruit the students in bulk (in large quantities).but tech Giants like Microsoft visits rhe campus once in 3-4 years

My college life in DAVIET College

I don't like the practical file system because it is waste of time for the students as it doesn't contribute towards learning, just waste of money in printing
I don't like the lab because there is nothing like practical, its just a theory based college and they focus only 0.5 percent in practical work

Tution fees is very high but increases gradually so it is okay okay You can afford it and most people have scholarship there which is easily provided for sc and st castes students but for general and obc there is nothing like scholarship.

The odd semester fee is somewhere around 55k to 60k. The even semester fee is somewhere around 30k to 35k making a total of around 90k for one semester for BTech CSE branch. There are no additional costs to this. Reservations and scholarships(post matric scholarships)are provided to reserved classes and certain amount of seats are reserved for them.
