Likes

The fest was great very great it provided so much exposure and meeting opportunities.
The university has great scholarship opportunities and finanical assistance programs.
The placement opportunities available are better than most of the colleges in the region

Dislikes

Some teachers are good and they are understandable also but some are really very rude without any fault they deduct marks which becomes no sense and they don't know how to teach also they only give homework
There is no scholarship for students which is a bad thing.
Disliked the hostel mess food, it's not changed for 2-3 months

Good Internship Opportunities

Likes

The college provides you with various opportunities to showcase your skills and talents and also provides you with the resources to develop them
Various events and talks take place where distinct speakers come and you get to learn a variety of things.
The hostel life is quite enjoyable and with the diverse crowd out here you can easily get your group of friends

Dislikes

The mess food is bad sometimes and we have to eat in the food court which is quite expensive.
The attendance poses a problem for students who are focused on research, startups and technical innovations.
All other things are quite decent out here and the rest are good

Placement Experience:

The students start getting placed at the end of the 4th semester. Almost all the students get placed. Most of the dream companies like Google, Microsoft, Infosys, etc come here and offer lucrative packages. The highest package on campus has been 57 LPA and off campus is more than 1 CR PA.

Chutkara University honest review

Likes

It is good in all way because it's preferred for all students and many of clubs are there
Campus Life is very good and greenery is best in my senerio and I like the campus
The clubs are run by well educated teacher and some.studens were also part of these clubs

Dislikes

Library is little bit small and crouding
Library time is upto 9 pm only and campus timings is 10 pm only
75%attaindance is compulsory And some other

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year. Students allowed to sit in placement cells and may big companies like Google Microsoft Amazon ola uber Oyo etc are come and give offers or dream packages like around 10..15 lakhs and many of them directly hire for 30+ lakhs package

The faculty is supportive and helps us during placements
In 4th semester special trainers teach us placement oriented subjects

Dislikes

it is a bit on the expensive side as compared to other colleges
(0% attendance criteria which is very difficult to maintain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year and various companies visit the campus such as Goldman Sachs and Tata. Most of the students get placed according to the level of skill they hold. The highest package is around 36lac/yr

Chitkara University - A heaven for study

Likes

I like the campus life. With so much things to do, none can get bored here.
The sports facilities. With a big gym and a huge badminton court, students are always engaged in physical activities.
The course curriculum and methods of teaching allows for an grasp of concept.

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that hostellers are not allowed to keep a vehicle.

Placement Experience:

The placements start from the 6th/7th semester. Many big tech companies like Flipkart, amazon, and google bajaj visit the campus. The placement rate is high and students get a good jobs. The offers made the previous year were around 9-11 LPA. The highest package went was nearly 1 crore. The placement rate is about 90% which is very good. I plan to get a job and start studying for my MBA.

Likes

I liked the campus, it's pretty clean and well maintained.
Placements are good here if you are even a little above average student
Sports is promoted, tournaments keeps going on

Dislikes

Disliked the hostel mess food, it's not changed for 2-3 months
The hostel rooms are too small in comparison to the fees
We can't go out of hostel without warden permission, and on weekdays it's a more long process as we have to take permission of mentor too

Placement Experience:

Yes companies do visit often and students get placed, it's 100% placement for those who have 7.5+ cgpa, the highest package I know is around 24-26 LPA and the lowest is I guess around 2-3 lpa in mass recruitment.

Life at Chitkara University

Likes

The Fest was great very great it provided so much exposure and meeting opportunities.
The transport facility is good and reliable.
The faculty is amazing they provide great knowledge

Dislikes

Their are always flaws to a thing and their are minor downsides but they can be ignored and fixed.
Moreover for me their is nothing i particularly dislike about the college
The college has got it reasons sometimes to do certain things but its for students

Placement Experience:

For 3 years students are allowed to sit for interviews. So many companies arrive at Chitkara University including Google, Microsoft, Accenture etc. The highest package receieved was 1 cr+ and the average package is 7-8 lakh 100% I plan pursue my master at Chitkara University

All over the review is good. There is the best infrastructure and architecture of the university and also the faculty members are much cooperative.

Likes

I mostly liked the infrastructure and architecture of this college. There is greenery at every step.
The faculty of our department like our mentors
The caretakers and sweepers of our hostel because they are are talk with us in a polite way.

Dislikes

Meaningless rules of our hostel which are provided by our wardens
Semester fees of our academic course and hostel
Burden which are given by our management

3rd Year. TCS, Goldman Sach, Infosys, Apollo, Parexel. The average package starts from 3.3 LPA to 8 LPA. The highest package is 40LPA. Above 70% of students are eligible to take all company's placements exams and it depends upon the interview which company chooses which criteria. I want to go for a job at Microsoft(my dream company).

Infrasturucture and the campus life at the chitkara univeristy
Placements which is normal and up to mark
Sports facility and the programs happening in college like fest and dj nights

The campus is very small i.e 85 acre and student is increaing year by year
The hostel menu is sometimes good sometimes not good

Placement is good in my university from 6th sem onward a student is eligible for sitting in placement and the average package is 6-7 lakhs there is 100% placement and their salary depends on their interview

All about chitkara university

Likes

Infrastructure over here is really good and maintained
Discipline here is the first priority like they do not allow students to go out unless parents permission
Timely parties and events are organized for studentd

Dislikes

Curriculum is not really good they pressurize the students by taking exams on weekly basis. Moreover as an engineer they first taught us python but correct way is first learn c ,c++ no basics were covered properly
They admitted a lot of crowd but their management is not really good
Most of the exams are on online platforms there internet doesnt work fine and code do not get submitted hence students didnt get the actual marks lot of discrepecy in marks i myself was marked 0 even though my test went good but nobody really cares

Placement Experience:

As I am now in the 6th semester till now no placements so what I think is they will start from the 7th semester. A lot of companies in fact 100+ companies visit. The highest package goes 32 lakhs and the average is 8 to 10 lakhs. As there is a lot of crowd in chitkara 70 percent of students get placed the number may vary I am just telling the approx. Well, my plans after my degree are firstly to brush up my skills and get promoted to a senior post and I want to be an entrepreneur.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. Various companies visit the campus like google. The average package goes from 5-6 lacs whereas the highest package goes from 40-45 lacs. College also provides huge opportunities for students induced startups. Good funding is provided to such students.
