From 5th semester onwards campus placements are started , Not many good companies approach this college students and the average package is also very low. Most students who get placements are from Btech CSE department. My personal plan after the degree was off campus interviews

the students are eligible for placement from the 4th semester The company visited are L&T, Tata Power, Voltas Ltd , BMW, Securs Meters , Exide Batteries , CEAT tyres , Sigma Pvt ltd ,
polybond Pvt ltd , Supreme industries .
The highest package is 2.4 LPA offered by Voltas , Tata power and L&T .

Companies like jet and air India offered placements. The number of students placed were 70 percent from our batch and also the subsequent batches.the alumni has been very supportive in terms of Job hunting. No start ups from our batch

Placement Experience:
They don’t gave any placement but when you will go through their website and advertisements you will see so much company name with student name but just believe me all the fake, no one placed by college. They all placed by off campus drive. In their advertisement they just posted the students name who just attended the drive conducted by WBUT. This college only able to conduct only 2-3 drives, that’s also BPO company means voice or semi voice support. So, don’t waste your time here

i completed my graduation in lockdown, i was at home at that time, so sadly i could not for placement,i did industrial traning, i have done internship for experience and now i am an employee of tech mahindra

When we promote for 4 th year then college will allow for the placement. But collge will not give any single campusing. Even after passing out. They only told after pass out we will send you placement mail till 2 years.

I just completed my second year there in this lockdown.
And i still not have much knowledge about the placements as well but yes i know our TPO offers several industry visits and internships options for a better experience of working in an industry and also a resume boost internships with great knowledge relevant to our branches.

Lots of job opportunity are present in this fields such as Plant Manager, Dairy Farm Manager, In Food Industry, In Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Banking Sector etc. and even you can startup their own business .You can also enter in teaching profession after completing your master.
