Camellia Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) was founded by Kalyan Education Society in 2010 at Burdwan, West Bengal. Affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.

Camellia Institute of Engineering and Technology offers undergraduate level course i.e. B.Tech in various branches of Engineering such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics Engineering.

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination (10+2) with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to take admission in the institute.
Admission to this institute is done through national level entrance exams viz. West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main)
Candidates can apply online for JEE Main and WBJEE through their official websites.
Candidates who have passed Diploma with 60% marks and possess valid JELET rank are eligible to take lateral entry admissions directly in the second year.

Camellia Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) B.Tech Admission 2024

CIET Bardhaman offers B.Tech in various disciplines of engineering who have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should also possess valid rank in JEE Main conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE). Candidates with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (for WBJEE) are eligible to take admission in these courses.

For lateral entry admissions, candidates should have completed three year Diploma from AICTE recognized college with minimum 60% of marks and possess valid JELET rank.

For JEE Main, the date of birth of the candidate should fall after October 01, 1993. 5-year relaxation is provided in the lower age limit for reserved category students who are taking admission through JEE Main.

Reserved category candidates should have scored minimum 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Biology/Chemistry/Bio technology/Computer Science.
20% of the total intake is for lateral entry candidates.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech offered by CIET Burdawan can apply online for JEE Main and WBJEE through the corresponding official websites.

For JEE Main:

Candidate have to register online through Aadhaar Number
Candidates can fill the online Application form online through the official website
Next, candidate should verify the Mobile Number and Email ID
Then, candidates should upload the required images viz. photograph and signature
Next, candidate should pay the fee
It will be followed by Slot Booking (only for Computer Based Test) and Printing of Acknowledgement Page

A student needs a valid WBJEE rank or a valid JEE Main rank to eligible himself or herself for this B.tech course. A counseling process took place for my admission to this course. I didn't opt any of the reservation benifits. As I got into this college through the university admission process that's why I don't thik there is any improvement needed.

In our college, there are two campuses one for Diploma and one for B.Tech. Placements are average, You can get a Job by campusing with an average package of 2 lakh If you are knowledgeable, There are separate hostel for Diploma and B.Tech so on for girls also. The canteen facility is very good. But the thing is the location is in an odd place otherwise it is a good college.
