How is BIET, Jhansi for IT?

BIET Jhansi is an institution known for the fact that their students are capable enough to study and learn about the subjects all by themselves. The college encourages the fact that the students need little to no guidance from the institute itself. My sister was pursuing CS from BIET and she mentioned that the IT branch in the college is self-financed. Students aiming for better salary packages and job opportunities have to work hard on their own. The complete dependence on the institute without much of your effort, will only provide you with the basic and comparatively lower salary package of 3 LPA. BIET Jhansi is a government college whereas JSS Noida is a private college. I have heard a lot about JSS Noida as my brother graduated from this college last year. JSS being a private college charges a higher amount than BIET. Both of the colleges are good enough to take admission but let’s compare it with a few factors. The infrastructure of BIET isn’t up to the mark whereas JSS Noida is well-maintained and has a beautiful campus that includes greenery as well. The hostel services and the premises of BIET are cheaper and aren’t well-furnished. As Jhansi is in Bundelkhand and it is a small city, BIET doesn’t provide good facilities because of its location. On the contrary, the students of JSS Noida have the access to prepare for any other competitive exams like CAT, UPSC, GATE, CSE, ESE, GMAT/GRE and many more. Noida is near Ghaziabad, which is the NCT of Delhi and many coaching institutes run in Ghaziabad. This fortunate opportunity isn’t available for the students of Jhansi. The fees of our branch is 86400 per annum and according to the stats, the fees increases 10% in every 4 years. The Students can get the facility of UP govt. scholarship program (whose father's income is <= 2 lakh per annum). Various companies visit the college during the campus placement.

The fees of the college is affordable. For Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, the fees are 15K extra because of self-finance Some students who belongs to the Economically Weaker Section are eligible to get UP scholarship Facility from the Uttar Pradesh Govt. College with average placement and nice environment for competitive exam preparation.

We have a good return on investment as the fee hike is not too much and also this is a government-funded institute. The hostel charge is not so costly so you can opt for hostels. We have a UP scholarship for the scholarship process which is on the up scholarship portal.

In our college, there are 7 branches in which IT and EE are self-finance if you got these two branches you have to pay extra 15000 rs for these branches otherwise you have to pay 66400( hosteler) and 56600( for day scholar). Mess fees are 14000 rs per semester. If your income is less than 2 lakh per year you can easily get up a scholarship in which you can get 55000 rs. So if you are financially weak then you do have not much more problems regarding the fees.

If you want to get placed, start study

The basic fees of biet are about 65000 for every branch but it got 15000 increased in case of information technology and electrical engineering. Because they are self financed branches. 1st yr fess of IT is 86400. It also includes hostel fees of 9600rs. Mess fees are 14000rs per semester. You can also get benefits from the UP scholarship facility. About 75% of fees got refunded in the scholarship scheme. And all student gets benefits from it. You also can do an internship and got a good amount of money. But you have to work hard to get placed in good companies. Because at the present time there is a tough competition. So after joining the college, just focus on your studies.

What my college is?

The face of my branch per year is 86400 i.e only tuition fees. Hostel fees are about 9600. The eligible students also get UP scholarships around 55 to 65000. Job percentage in this college moderate the average package around the year 5 lakhs per annum.
