Ques. Is a Diploma in Computer Science or IT required for B.Tech {Lateral} (Cyber Security) at BBIT?
Ans. While a Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics is preferred, any Diploma from an AICTE-approved institution with at least 45% marks is eligible. B.Sc graduates with Mathematics in Class 12 are also eligible. The JELET rank determines final seat allotment.
Ques. What is the total fee for B.Tech {Lateral} (Cyber Security) at BBIT?
Ans. The total fee is Rs. 3.91 Lakhs for 3 years (2026-27). The first semester has a higher fee due to one-time admission charges. Hostel fees are separate and optional, ranging from Rs. 13,200 to Rs. 42,000 per year.
