21 Nov, 2025 JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Registration is open @jeemain.nta.nic.in till Nov 27, 2025 (9 PM) for B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Plan admission. The correction window will be available on Dec 1 & 2, 2025, and JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be held from Jan 21 to 30, 2026. For more details, check here.

18 Nov, 2025 CMAT 2026 Registration is ongoing for admission to the MBA/PGDM programs. The last date to register @cmat.nta.nic.in has been extended to Nov 24, 2025 (upto 11:50 PM). For more details, check here.

Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) was established in 2003 by the Keharnam Memorial Educational Society in the village of Bhutta, Ludhiana, Punjab.

Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology offers full-time B.Tech course in four specializations with 420 seats in total. It also caters 2- year regular MBA course to the aspirants in three specializations with total 60 seats.

Mode of application is offline and the application form could be either downloaded from the college’s website or candidates can get it in person from the college.
Application fees can be submitted through Demand Draft.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 from any recognized Board and have appeared in JEE Main are considered eligible for admission to B.Tech course.
Applicants who hold 3-years graduation degree in any discipline and have appeared in CMAT are eligible to get admission to MBA course.
Selection of the candidates in B.Tech is done on the basis of their merit in JEE Mains and admission is given through Punjab Technical University (PTU) counselling.
Admission to MBA is done through PTU counselling based on the merit of CMAT.

Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Admission 2024

BCET offers 4-year regular B.Tech program in four specializations to the aspirants. Candidates who have passed HSC with two compulsory subjects viz. Physics and Mathematics and any one of these optional subjects viz. Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology from a recognized board are eligible to apply. Applicants who want to take admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course shall hold a 3-year Diploma in Engineering/ Technology.

Admission to the candidates is given on the basis of their merit in JEE Main through Punjab Technical University (PTU) counseling.

Key Points for Admission:

2/3^rd of the seats in the B.Tech course is filled through PTU counselling.
1/3^rd of the seats under the management quota are filled by the college admission cell.

Candidates who want to get admission under the management quota have to visit the college in person and register for admission.

Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology MBA Admission 2024

Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology runs two-year full-time MBA course in three specializations. Candidates who hold a three-year graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible to apply for admission to MBA course.

Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their performance in the state level entrance test and counselling conducted by Punjab Technical University (PTU).

Key Points for Admission:

Candidates who have qualified CMAT are given preference during the PTU counselling.
Counselling will be conducted online for admission under the Punjab State quota of 85% and 15% Other State Quota.
Candidates are required to submit the counselling fees of INR 2000 (Non-refundable) to participate in the online PTU Counselling.
PTU counselling is conducted in two rounds in the month of July.

Unlike the engineering counterpart, attendance here is not taken lightly. 75% attendance is absolutely needed, under any condition. There have been cases where students have been debarred even at 74%, so basically it’s strict out here and you need to attend religiously.

Admission:

College management was. 50% youth and 50% experienced. This creates problems like where youth supports seniors disagree with that and where seniors give their point youth says they are showing their seniority.
