Ques. What is the eligibility for Diploma in Electrical Engineering at BIT Meerut?
Ans. Candidates must have passed Class 10 (High School) from a recognized board with at least 35% marks. Admission is through JEECUP. ITI pass candidates can apply for lateral entry directly into the 2nd year.
Ques. What is the total fee for Diploma in Electrical Engineering at BIT Meerut?
Ans. The fee is Rs. 45,000 per year, making the total 3-year fee Rs. 1,35,000. Additional charges such as examination fees and development fees may apply. Hostel is optional and charged separately.
Ques. Can I pursue B.Tech after completing Diploma in Electrical Engineering from BIT Meerut?
Ans. Yes. After completing the Diploma in Electrical Engineering, you can apply for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which allows direct admission to the 2nd year of B.Tech. BIT Meerut also offers B.Tech (Lateral Entry) programs.
