- Basic eligibility for B.Tech is a 10+2 with Physics/ Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology and Computer Science.

- 85% of the total seats are reserved for Punjab state candidates and remaining 15% seats are reserved for the candidates of other states.
- Out of the total available seats, 33% seats will be filled through Management Quota.
- Those candidates who have passed Diploma in any Engineering Trade or have passed a two-year certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET).
- The minimum eligibility for M.Tech program is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline.

The application form for all the courses can be filled by following the below-listed stated steps:
- All requisite information in the application form can be filled with correct details. Applicants are advised to write their names in Block letters.
- The applicant should furnish his/ her latest email ID and mobile number. All correspondence made by the institute with the applicant henceforth will be done through email or SMS.
- The candidates should affix his/ her passport-size color photograph at the in the application form. To be noted that only those applications with cross-signed photographs will be considered for admission.
- The complete application form should be duly signed by his/ her parent or guardian at all designated places. Applications submitted without proper signature may be rejected without prior notice.
