Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET), Durgapur, offers a 3-year full-time Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Lateral Entry program in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, and approved by AICTE. The Lateral Entry program allows diploma holders to directly join the 2nd year (3rd semester) of the B.Tech program, completing the degree in 3 years instead of 4. The total course fee is Rs. 1,80,000 for the full 3-year (6-semester) program.
