Admission to the college is available through the KCET exam or via management seats, the latter having higher fees. The UPSEE exam is another entry route, as shown by a student admitted to Mechanical Engineering with a rank of 58,000. Faculty are present from 8 AM to 6 PM for student queries. While labs are well-equipped, teaching quality is mixed, affected by some faculty's lack of innovation and part-time teaching by senior students.
The annual fee is 98,650 INR, typical for merit students, but higher for management quota. Payments can be made via various methods and split into two installments. A first-year attire charge of 4,000 INR and a 5,000 INR caution money are separate. Placement opportunities are limited, with no placement drives, except for call center roles for CS/IT students. Internships require a permission letter; no extra training or internships are provided.
Scholarships are available: the Karnataka government offers Vidyasiri for General/OBC students, and SC/ST students have specific scholarships, while the central government provides the Meri Cum Means scholarship. Scholarship applications, completed with required documents and attested by the college, can earn up to 25,000 INR when approved.
