Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering and Management (AIEMD) was established in the year 2003 in Durgapur, West Bengal. The college is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).

The college offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the fields of Engineering, Management,Computer Applications and Business Management.

Admission to B.Tech program is done on the basis of marks scored in JEE Main or WBJEE.
For admission in B.Tech Lateral, the eligible candidates will have to appear in JELET.
Selection of students for other UG programs is done on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 level or equivalent.
In order to seek admission in M.Tech program, the aspirants will have to appear in GATE.
Admission in MBA is done through CMAT, MAT and JEMAT score.

AIEMD B.Tech Admission 2024

At Undergraduate level, AIEMD offers B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry in various specializations. The intake capacity for each of the specializations vary as per the courses.

Candidates must have completed his / her 10+2 level or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and scored 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible.

Selection is done on the basis of valid score in JEE Main or WBJEE. Admission to B.Tech Lateral is done on the basis of marks scored in Joint Entrance Examination Lateral Entry (JELET) conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).

Note: 90% of the total seats are filled through WBJEE. The remaining 10% of the seats are filled through JEE Main. If any vacant seats are left over, then those are filled by the intake of candidates through direct admission.

AIEMD BBA, BCA and BBM Admission 2024

Apart from Technical courses, the college also offers BBA (H), BCA (H) and BBM (H) at the UG level. The intake capacity for BBA, BCA and BBM are 60 seats, 60 seats and 30 seats respectively.

Candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 level or equivalent. Those students are eligible who have successfully completed their 10+2 level in the relevant discipline.

AIEMD M.Tech and MBA Admission 2024

At the PG level, the college offers M.Tech and MBA with an intake capacity of 18 seats and 60 seats respectively. Candidates who have passed BE / B.Tech in the relevant courses are eligible to seek admission in the M.Tech program. For MBA, a Bachelor’s degree in any field is required to be eligible.

Selection in M.Tech will be done on the basis of a valid score in GATE. Admission in MBA will be done on the basis of valid score in CMAT, MAT or JEMAT. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a Group Discussion and personal interview conducted by the college. Based on the final scores, selection of the aspirants is done.

Candidates can download the application form from the official website of the institute. They need to fill the form correctly and send it to the college with the required documents.

Admission:

I got into this college through WBJEE West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. My rank was not so good. So I got into this college through counselling as per my rank. My friends also got admission into this college through donation that is direct admission. If anyone wish to get direct admission without giving any exam they can easily get into this college. Admission process is not so strict here.The minimum marks required to get admission in Btech is 45% marks in PCM. And overall marks should be 55% and above. One can get the admission form from the college itself. Overall admission process is sophisticated.Staffs are co-operative and helpful. They help you in filling the form and other admission process. For me admission process was good and easy. I didn't face any trouble and overall experience was good.

This is the most preferred institute in new delhi after pusa institute and is the government college and so have an opportunity for the students to participate in company interview. Campus have a great look that I like the most and placement rates are high.
