Likes

The college have good infrastructure facilities, good environment, spacious.
The college have good placement facilities. Good hostel facility with good food.
The college have good curriculum and co-curricular activties. Good friends.

Internships Opportunities:

The students of 3rd and final years have the project.They will present it to external at the end of semester.The project they do in the college will be useful for them in future.They can present it during the interview time.

I did my internship in Chennai port trust(government) and I also did my final year project in port trust.. around a period of 5 months I did my intern in Chennai port trust and also completed my project at Marine management systems

good college for architect student

Likes

the faculty are well educated and friendly, we were approach them at any time for doubt clarification
well maintained library and proper guided staff
the infrasture is good and the staffs are very easy to approach

Dislikes

can improve vise in events that are conducted in college
college canteen and restroom are worst need to maintain properly
sanitation are really very poor and no special events are conducted

we a intership period during are end semseter, the intership companies are not provided by college we need to search on our own. coolege won't support for intenship and placement , no placment are recamadation is provided from college side

Campus life at Meenakshi College Of Engineering

Likes

Placement training and job opportunities during Covid
Staffs were approachable, many worshops and seminars were contucted to improve our skills apart from academics
Labs were highly equipped and we had assistance to do in house projects inside the campus

Dislikes

Sports and extracurricular activities could have been better during my stay in the college
Bus facility for my route was not available
Lack of cultural events and celebrations were minimal as though it was kept for namesake

Internships Opportunities:

Qspiders and nettyfish had offered intership with a stipend of Rs.10,000 per month considering the performance of the students . This internship was very helpful to learn the basics of electronics were we worked on projects with raspberry pi, arduino, embedded etc.

A good college to join

Likes

The class room is very neat and clean they clean it everyday
The infrastructure is very good they maintain it very well
The faculty is so supportive amd very friendly

Dislikes

The lift service is not always available
The current supply sometimes goes out but they have generator for backup
The parking space is very conjusted its hard to park there

Internships Opportunities:

As i am 1st year i dont know about the internships but the seniors are getting internships from good companies and they do many projects they work in good companies for internship next year there are more companies coming for internships
