The hostels provide essential amenities such as beds, tables, cupboards, WiFi, and clean common washrooms with four bathrooms and toilets per floor.

A common room or TV room is available, and the food served is generally considered good and plentiful. Additionally, the area is noted for its safety, with various hostels run by churches, trusts, and private management, as well as options for paying guest accommodations nearby. New hostels, such as the Lakshmi Bai hostel, are under construction to address growing needs.
