FMNC UG Eligibility Criteria

A 10+2 pass from a recognised board is the minimum eligibility for all UG programmes. Vocational Higher Secondary Examination is also accepted. Related subject marks add to the index score used for ranking.

FMNC UG Selection Criteria

FMNC UG admission is determined by the 10+2 index mark. No interview or entrance test is considered for merit ranking. Seats are filled across four category types.

  • Merit seats (40%): Filled by open ranking. Any eligible candidate competes for these seats.
  • Community seats (20%): Reserved for Latin Catholic candidates. Filled strictly by merit within the community.
  • Management seats (20%): Filled at the management’s choice. Candidates must indicate this preference in the online form.
  • SC/ST seats (20%): SC 15% and ST 5%. Unfilled seats revert to open merit per University rules.

Supernumerary seats exist for Sports, PwD, and Transgender candidates. Nominees from Lakshadweep and Jammu and Kashmir also receive additional seats over and above the sanctioned strength.


How to Apply for UG at FMNC?

  1. Visit admissions.fmnc.ac.in and register before the stream’s deadline.

FMNC PG Eligibility Criteria

A three-year UG degree in the relevant discipline is required for all PG programmes. The degree must be from Kerala University or an equivalent recognised institution. A pass mark in the UG degree is the minimum requirement.

FMNC PG Selection Criteria

PG seat allotment is based on UG degree marks in the relevant discipline. No separate entrance test is conducted. The same centralised allotment process used for UG applies to PG admissions.

  • Index score derives from the final UG marks in the relevant subject.
  • PG seats follow the same merit, community, management, and reservation split as aided UG seats.
  • Allotted candidates must appear for document verification and the principal’s interview before admission is confirmed.

How to Apply for PG at FMNC?

  1. Register at admissions.fmnc.ac.in under the PG category before the registration deadline.
  2. Pay the PG registration fee through the portal. The one-time PG admission fee is INR 160, paid at joining.
  3. Enter PG programme preferences in priority order after registration is complete.
  4. Check the provisional rank list and submit corrections before the corrections window closes.

FMNC Scholarships

  • Post-Matric Scholarship: For students from families with annual income below INR 2 lakh. Covers tuition, exam fees, and related charges. Applied through the e-grants portal.
