ANITS Placement 2025 FAQs
Ques. Which departments get the best median packages at ANITS?
Ans. Computer Science Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning keep the top records under the median salary packages at ANITS, which usually stand above Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum. These branches also welcome the highest number of recruiters, have the most diverse job roles-from development, analytics to DevOps and QA. Following suit at good median salary rates ranging from Rs. 3.6-4 lakh per annum are the ECE and IT branches. However, core branches like Mechanical and Civil have fewer high-value jobs, but all ensure placements in the core industry.
Ques. Are product-based companies visiting ANITS for recruitment, or is it mostly service-based?
Ans. Mostly, these service-based companies include Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and Capgemini that bulk recruit for software profiles from ANITS. More lately, product-based and pure-technological companies like Medha Servo, Pinnacle, Zoho, Praxol, and IMEG have also begun recruiting from ANITS. The number of product-based roles is lower in comparison to service-based roles. These roles usually provide higher packages and require strong technical/coding skills, assessed through rigorous coding rounds or project evaluations.
Ques. How does the placement cell help students prepare beyond technical interviews, like HR rounds or GDs at ANITS?
Ans. The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) at ANITS doesn’t just focus on technical training. It regularly conducts sessions on Group Discussions (GDs), HR mock interviews, resume writing workshops, and personality development. Students receive training on how to present themselves, communicate effectively, and handle behavioral questions. These sessions are often conducted in collaboration with external trainers, industry professionals, and alumni to offer real-world insights and build confidence.
Ques. What is the placement scenario for niche branches, like Chemical or Civil Engineering at ANITS?
Ans. Placement opportunities for students of Chemical and Civil Engineering are much more limited than those of the CS or IT branches at ANITS. For such core companies as Meil and Medha Servo, or some government contractors, these streams are available. In addition, many Civil and Chemical students opt for a better position by learning software tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MATLAB, or even coding, for improved opportunities in technology and analytics.
Ques. Do students from ANITS get the chance to be part of the off-campus drives being declared or organized by the APSCHE or some other affiliated firms?
Ans. Yes, ANITS students are usually present at off-campus drives organized by APSCHE, APSSDC, and national bodies like TCS NQT or AMCAT. The placement cell notifies students of these opportunities and assists with the registration and preparation. In this context, off-campus drives provide placement opportunities to students in MNCs or niche firms that may not come to ANITS for placements. On-campus placement drives are, therefore, supplemented by this provision.
