AVCOE provides various UG and PG programs. Are there any placements for students in core companies from the Mechanical/Civil/Electrical branches?

Yes, there is placement, albeit to a lesser extent than for the IT branches. Core employers do hire from the Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering branches.
