The people is good as in friends. A lot of variety of people here, first time im having such an experience.
The football ground is nice. We get to play everyday after class
The functions and a lot of sports in college now.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food is horrible. Very difficult at times.
Hostel is very strict. Need outpass just to go outside.
Message goes to the parents once we get out of hostel.

Placement Experience:

from 7th sem we could sit for placements. wipro,etc come for placements. the hightest package is 58lakhs per annum to a it student. perecent of studnets getting placements is very less for our college due to the lack of proper skill. i wish to work for some while and then pursue for higher education.

The infrastructure of the college is good.
The college will support you if you have a startup idea.

Dislikes

There used to good placements but it has decreased over the years.
Although things have changed comparatively after the new management took over, it happened only during my final year. Before that the college life was boring. Now the number of events happening in our college have increased.

For Integrated MCA, students become eligible for placements since the 9th semester. For Btech, its 7th semester. Some of the companies that visited our college are SOTI, UST, Leopard Technologies, Safran Digit. There are many other companies that we can apply to but those drives are not conducted at our college like experion technologies and G10X technologies. Our college is the only college in Kerala from where students are hired by Safran Digit. I have gotten placement in G10X technoologies private limited.

Our college is looking damn beautiful with it's ambience and cleanliness. It includes a great greenery and natural beauty which enhances the freshness of our mind

Green campus

Likes

The campus is so clean and green and environmental friendly.
Good infrastructure and facilities like class rooms, labs, library, gym etc..
Courses and faculty services are up to the level.

Dislikes

Management before was not up to the level and now it's changed.
Before collage had no celebrations and festivals.
Canteen facilities are good .they provide good quality of food.

There are internships from inside the college that are conducted by the concerned departmens. Mostly Students do internships on PCB design,embedded systems,iot, vlsi etc From companies like techmagi, Google, nasa etc...

The first thing I like about the college is the support from the teaching staff and their helping mentality.
There is a stage for showing our talents.
There is a space for sharing our ideas like startup ideas and project funding.

Dislikes

At first few semesters there was a thing like boys and girls should not sit in the same seat.
The second is the fees that is to be paid, as a middle class family this amount is difficult for me.
More benefits are for hostelers as they can play games after class

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to attend the placement drives once they are at the seventh semester.There are a lot of companies coming here.I think the average package offered is around 10lakhs per annum and my senior got placed with a job which offered him 55 lpa.The more opportunities are for the it industries but there are also opportunities for other branches.

I cant say about other departments but the faculty in IT department are very good. Very friendly faculty who support each student very well.
Startups are encouraged well in our college. There is a proper working environment for them unlike other colleges.
The events are very good nowadays since the management has changed in 2024. The campus has become student friendly ever since the new management has come.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not that great according to my friends (I am a day scholar). Even though everyday except friday you get non veg the quality is a question mark.
The number of technical events happening are less compared to cultural ones which is not that a big problem but a con
The labs need to be more modern like more modern powerful systems. The ones there are working but more powerful and modern computers are needed.

Internships Opportunities:

There are many companies working in the TBI (area for startups or companies by students) they offer internships to work for them. This is unavailable in most colleges. Most students do internships in infoparks or other areas but incampus internships are also good

Likes

Atmosphere of the college is very excellent compared to all other engineering colleges
Provides huge opportunities for students
Good lab facilities for practicals and experimental activities

Dislikes

Teaching is not much good as the teachers put more pressure upon students
Management is not upto the level in many cases
Very bad hostel food and hostel staffs especially the wardens

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in our college is very less interested in sending their students to high paying companies. Barely a few companies very offered jobs in the academic section and only a few students have got placed. During the 4th year only they start preparing for the placement drives without giving much preparation to the students. Most companies that have visited is some local companies that provide very low package
