My Campus life experience in Amal Jyothi College of Engineering

Placement Experience:

My plan after getting B.tech to place in a good company which have foreign head office.From sixth semester they start for placement training program.they are offering royal enfield, eicher, yamaha, bosch training certificate from there own laboratory equipments.Companies like mahindr ,eicher ,luxon tata... are recruting from college level placement.most of the students got placed from college.The Highest package salary were 5LPA.

from 7th sem we could sit for placements. wipro,etc come for placements. the hightest package is 58lakhs per annum to a it student. perecent of studnets getting placements is very less for our college due to the lack of proper skill. i wish to work for some while and then pursue for higher education.

There used to good placements but it has decreased over the years.

For Integrated MCA, students become eligible for placements since the 9th semester. For Btech, its 7th semester. Some of the companies that visited our college are SOTI, UST, Leopard Technologies, Safran Digit. There are many other companies that we can apply to but those drives are not conducted at our college like experion technologies and G10X technologies. Our college is the only college in Kerala from where students are hired by Safran Digit. I have gotten placement in G10X technoologies private limited.

The students are eligible for sitting for a college placement during 4th year that is 7th semester onwards .Many companies will visit our colleges and so many students get placed through campus placement. The companies will provide a package of about 400000 per annum .Almost 80 percentage students will get placed after completing the course. My plan is to appear for placement interviews and also i have a plan to do MBA

The students are eligible to attend the placement drives once they are at the seventh semester.There are a lot of companies coming here.I think the average package offered is around 10lakhs per annum and my senior got placed with a job which offered him 55 lpa.The more opportunities are for the it industries but there are also opportunities for other branches.

The placement cell in our college is very less interested in sending their students to high paying companies. Barely a few companies very offered jobs in the academic section and only a few students have got placed. During the 4th year only they start preparing for the placement drives without giving much preparation to the students. There are campusnplacements happening in college every year It is for 3rd year students It is usually done by the end of semester 6(3rd year) Placement from our college is recieved for almost, 100% of students but campus placements are achieved by many but not by all. Highest package is almost 8LPA And lowest can go around 1-2LP

Yes placements do occur in college and it mainly happens on the last 2 semesters but most of the companies fail to visit the campus because there won't be many students with 8.5 and abov cgpa but the management is now looking forward to a new idea where they are gonna make give the companies projects done by a few students and make them come get the students.
