Ques. Is B.Tech {Lateral} (Artificial Intelligence) the same degree as the regular B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence) at AJCE?
Ans. Yes, the degree awarded is the same - B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). Lateral entry students join directly in the 3rd semester (2nd year), completing the degree in 3 years instead of 4. The curriculum from 3rd semester onwards is identical to the regular programme.
