Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Admission 2024

Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology offers B.Tech program at the undergraduate level. The B.Tech course is offered under five specializations.

For minimum eligibility, candidates must have passed 10 + 2 examination from a recognized board having secured minimum 60% marks in Physics and Chemistry / Computer Science / Biotechnology / Biology and minimum 55% marks in Mathematics.

Applications to the first semester of the B.Tech course are also accepted from candidates who are holders of a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution. Holders of a Diploma in Engineering who have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for admission into the third semester of the B.Tech course, through the lateral entry process.

Admission to the B.Tech course is done based on performance in the KEAM (CEE) entrance examination conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The counselling process is conducted by the KEAM counselling authorities and will be done through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Admission to B.Tech Lateral entry is done on the basis of lateral entry scheme of Karnataka state government (KEA DCET).

Key Points:

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backwards Classes (SEBC) with a total family annual income not exceeding INR 4.5 Lakhs need only 40% marks in Mathematics and 55% marks in Physics and Chemistry put together to be considered as eligible.
Candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe need only a pass in the qualifying examination to be considered eligible.
10+2 examination should be completed from the State board of Kerala or from a recognized equivalent by University of Kerala.
Diploma in Engineering should be obtained from an institution recognized by the AICTE.
15% of the seats are available to be filled by Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
These students are exempted from qualifying for any Entrance Test and can be admitted based on their academic eligibility as stipulated by the University of Calicut.

Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology Application Process

Application forms for KEAM need to be filled online on the official website of Kerala CEE. The filled out the print out of the application form needs to be sent to the KEAM address, along with the required documents attached, on or before the last date to apply.

Application forms can be obtained at the following link during the application period from the official website of Kerala CEE.
The application fee is INR 800 (for general category candidates) and INR 400 (for SC candidates). ST candidates will not be charged any application fees.
Application fee can be paid online through credit card/debit card / net banking, etc. Application fee can also be paid in cash at select State Bank of Travancore (SBT) in India or all head and sub-post offices in the state of Kerala.
A print out of the application form should be taken and the required documents should be attached to it and sent to the following address on or before the last date of application:

It's a decent college

Admission:

I choose this college because the tution fee for the course was decent. At the time of admission many other colleges have fee of 75000 per year while this college only have fee of 50000. Before joining this college I took temporary admission on another college, but the strength of students in the class was very low. Only few students was there in that class. And I moved to this college ASET. Here the strength is fine. And another reason for choosing this college is because of the campus. Ahalia is big and beautiful campus.
