Our college is Fully ensured to give placement and recently our college that do it. 400+ more students take placement by our college concerned principal and student union. That will be first time achievement.

Being a student of Carmel, English was kind of my primary language with my mother tongue. DGC is famous for its English faculty and has one of the best facilities in the college. Being the only govt. College in paschim burdwan, it makes the college first preference of many students but the registration process consists only of a great percentage.

As per the discipline, faculty support and also student union support we can say it's my proud that I am addmit to this college. It's a government college affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University. My experience is so good

The course curriculum is designed to provided to comprehensive understanding of the rich literary heritage of bengal.It encopassess a board spectrum of texts,from ancient to modern literature, ensuring that students gain a deep appreciation for the evolution of Bengali languiage and thought.

Bengali is my mother toung and that's why I love this subject. I want to know extra more intensity about this language and that's the main reason to choose bengali for my Graduation. And also all the bengali department faculties are well educated people and they teach us very well. At last I must say my college is provid good education to all students.

This course (English Honours) is a very rich and beneficial course that makes you absolutely aware of literature. The faculty is an excellent one. Teachers are highly appreciated for their professional skills and are very vulnerable towards the students. The department consists of professors who have done their PhD and postdocs. Exams occur in between regular intervals and the exams are based in standard mode. A student needs to prepare well for passing.

I want to do a masters in English so, I chose this course. You can get teachers' jobs after completing this course. Our teachers are very good. They teach us very well. Our college takes exams each month and every semester exam every 6 months.

The Term Exams happen in each Semester and the total no. Of semester are 6 and the Exams are not so, easy you can say that they are Difficult but not so hard. And yeah the pass Number is easy to get if you study well.

I love English subject very much, So I choose this course. I have 85% marks in My H.S Exam then I applied for BA in English. Teachers are very friendly with students in this college. If anybody has 50-60% marks then he can apply for this course in this college.
