Faran College and School of Nursing situated at Bangalore came into existence with the farsightedness and wisdom of The Faran Educational Trust. The aims and objectives of the college are to provide a balance of professional & generation education to enable the students to become professional nurse who take up the first level in the community, to develop the ability to investigate the nursing care problems & provide suitable remedial measures, to develop the ability to work co-operatively with other members of allied disciplines towards attaining the optimum health for all members of the society and to understand the principles of teaching and learning and apply these principles in health education.

For B.Sc Nursing admission, candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and a minimum of around 45–50% marks; selection is merit-based or entrance-based. The total course fee is about INR 2.9 lakh for 4 years (INR 74,500 yearly). Fees are paid yearly/semester-wise, so installments are allowed.
The fee for the BSc in Nursing course is INR 40,000 at the Faran College of Nursing, Bangalore. Candidate applying for Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] must have passed 10+2 in science from a recognized board.
