All you want to know about Dispur College

Likes

Faculties are very good and supportive. They pay personal attention to each student and their problems.

Dislikes

Seniors and union of college are too rude.

Placement Experience:

Some kind of placement is available in our college which I am not surely aware of. It's my last year so let's see what happens after the completion of this semester. But as I have witnessed there are placements of like 20k to 40k per month in some media companies or any lit-related professions.

Dispur College

Likes

I mostly like my department faculty they help us a lot .
I also like the extra cources provided by the college.

Dislikes

They don't let us go out of the college till 1 pm .
The college area is not so big . There is no place to sit .

Internships Opportunities:

There is no such internship provided by the college but they provide more than 30 extra cources related to different topics and subject that we can get a certificate and use later they are mostly 3 month cources.

Placement Experience:

Currently the placement cell is in dilemma because our seniors are placed but in recent years there is no such placements.Previously companies like Harley-Davidson,ITC use to come and offer a descent salary around 20,000 but now the placement is in crisis. There is no scope of placement but under extreme situation or prior notice you may be allowed.

The placement in the past has been alright but the placement cell is degrading day by day like our seniors who are in 3rd year now didn't get placed at all so it is a sign of worry for dispur College.
