Likes
- The campus is very elegant and it is huge. The infrastructure, facilities and laboratories are top notch. The faculty is encouraging and intensively into research activities as well
- A lot of other departments on the campus, helps us interact and bond with students of various streams.
Dislikes
- The campus is located on the outskirts of the city, around 25kms from Central Bangalore. Which makes it tough for day scholars to travel, due to the lack of public transport in that area.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques.
Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest.
Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want.
The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.
