The placements were mainly offered in our department, i.e. mainly for the B. Sc students. If you wish to study B.Sc, then DHSK college is not a bad choice as the placements offered are good. Again the placements are not 100%. Most of the students did not receive a placement.
Obviously only a few 3-4 people are placed as no one takes freshers in general category unlike engineering. Most students go abroad for MA and other start preparing for UPSC or APSC.
Although the college runs a placement cell, it's ineffective in assisting students to secure placements. The courses run by the college have poor employability and there is the option of pursuing a master's degree after completing an undergraduate course form this college
As i am in the first semester now i Would not get any intership opportunities now but with tthe ciurse o time that is in the fifth semester i will get to apply for interships and also there biotech hubs and labs for research purposes for students to use.
I am just in my first year so I will not be able to provide my opinion on this question. I need to explore a little more. I am too early to answer this question but yes a lot of workshops are being organised for the students by different departments. So it also helps the students to get exposure to different fields and scopes. We also have an Ecell i.e. the Entrepreneurship cell that provides the students to showcase different ideas and participate in various innovative events organised by them.
I don't about the internships provided by the college as I haven't done any. But there must be social work internships. Also computer related internships. As I'm in my first year so I don't know much . But you can find it in the college website I guess.
Various Companies and MNCs come here for the selection procedure, like, BPCL/OIL INDIA & ADITYA LTD etc. Most of the graduates are working in very reputable companies and posts. The college also contributed to many projects and social works.
Lab assistant. Even though I didn't opt for it but still the opportunity is good. Not only did you get to travel for the whole month but also you get to work with brilliant scientists and there was no expense.
Our college unfortunately don't provide incampus recruitments yet. But definitely our college has a good name and students passed out are highly regarded. And unfortunately i don't have any information regarding placement referrals from our college
