K.J. Somaiya Medical College & Research Centre Mumbai Scholarship 2026

The college offers several scholarships aimed at supporting students from different categories and backgrounds. Government scholarships are available for category students, including SC, ST, NT, OBC, EWS, and the VJ category, with fees either halved or covered entirely. The Prakalp Foundation provides scholarships for academically excellent students and college exam toppers, awarding prizes and certificates worth approximately 20,000 rupees. The Birla scholarship covers around 25% of the fees for top students in each batch.

For open category students, the fees are approximately 12,40,000 rupees, while for OBC and EWS students, fees range from 5 to 6 lakh rupees per year. SC, ST, and NT students pay around 1 lakh rupees annually. For students in management or university rounds, the fee structure involves a management eligibility fee and correspondence fee, totaling significantly higher amounts. The Maharashtra government provides scholarships for various categories, including girl children and economically backward class (EBC) students.

The college does not offer loans but has subsidized fees for certain categories and facilitates government-approved loans.
