JMCH internship

Likes

Reputation of the college is really good.
Most of the departments are available and well trained faculties are also there
College location is near the town, and not too far like other colleges.

Dislikes

Small campus, not much to explore, no cricket field.
College environment is not that good, one can still manage though.
Senior-junior interaction is not healthy. Freshers would suffer from anxiety in front of seniors.

Internships Opportunities:

1 year Internship is integrated with the course, you'll have to work according to your schedules be it day shift or night. Intership salary of around 37000 is provided by the Assam State Government. There's enough patient flow to learn.

Medical- A dream world

Internships Opportunities:

College provides one year of internship with a minimum stipend. Since the college is a government college, placements are not a big problem. Students are offered internships and clinical exposures on campus. After completing the course, you can get admission into college. After completion of internship we have to go for a compulsory rural posting for 1 year.

The average placement of this college is quite decent as compared to the number of fees they are taking. After completing the internship we have to go for a compulsory 1 year rural posting.

The students have a vast exposure to internships and jobs as the college is operated by the Government. We get internships in the college itself. Once we have completed the course, we may also get a job in the college itself as a lecturer.

The college provides one year compulsory internship. The internship is basically in the hospitals that ar already attached to the college. But we do learn a lot from this. We do not have as such on campus placements.

Medical college with modern facility

Placement Experience:

Hospitals, research and drug development companies , government health department come for interview. The college organises job fairs every year. To get selected, a student should get high marks in academics. College also offers support in finding suitable opportunities by posting jobs in mail.

Placement Experience:

Placement is limited comparing to other colleges. The college will get opportunities through their references and relationships across hospitals and other organizations across India. Students have to register with the admin office for opportunities and interviews.
